[Beware gift-bearing drones. At least Bakugo let himself sleep in on Christmas morning. Though that means he's finding the little package when he opens the door to go out, not when he's coming back.
Frowning, he eyes it for a few seconds. Then takes it in while reading the message. (That's really fucking annoying, being in his eye like that.) Still, the fact LILITH is tending to their captives' holidays is... strange but not ignored.
That veiled "threat" at the end earns a glare. It makes the bomb-shaped clock ironically fitting though.
But damn right he's setting it up in his room. (It's cool.)
And spending some time silently thinking about his family, classmates, and teachers back home.]
[ In the midday hours of Valentine's Day, a little package is left outside of Bakugo's dorm room. It's wrapped up in pink decorative ribbons and wrapping, and has a little tiger shaped note with Yuji's handwriting.

[Some word travels too fast. Bakugo's been tempted to leave the base for the day, but one reason (see: person) or another has kept him from escaping the attention. Meaning he's in his room, flopped on his bed, when he finds notice of another box. Grab, twist, open, aaand... there it is.
He snorts at the dandelion-shaped note. So even that's been going around... Not like his nicknames haven't circulated.
Raidou would definitely be one to know the feeling of wanting to avoid the attention. Of course Bakugo's going to find out when the guy's is and make sure to give him something. "Revenge" excuse for being a friend.

Oy, what recipe did you use for these? They're good.
No name, no signature, no card. He hasn't done well starting out balance wise, but very clearly the light, fine grain, reclaimed wood that bares writing has been worked by hand and by heat. Maybe if Shoto's writing, designed in darker, purposefully charred areas on the sign weren't so distinct, it would be less obvious. Maybe if he hadn't used a very warm finger to heat carve "Dynamight" in English on what looks to be something that could be hung on a door, it would be less obvious. Given that it has a reclaimed bit of rope to hang it and a small hole in the two upper sides, that's probably what it's for.
Alas, it is obvious, but it is the gift that Shoto has at the moment, done in his spare time, done away from eyes that would otherwise have spoiled the surprise by seeing the work he was doing.
If it were any other day but Bakugo's birthday, then maybe it wouldn't have been a birthday gift. However, there it is, settled where Bakugo will certainly find it on the day of his birth. Shoto knows making a big deal about his birthday right now may not be what the hero wants, but the day is still precious and important to him because so is his friend.
It's the writing on the sign that gives away who created this for him. Both the charming atmosphere of the reclaimed wood and rope used for its backing and the knowledge Shoto used his Quirk to form the design and calligraphy on the surface elevates the item to a meaningful connection.
Of course, there's now the dichotomy of where to hang this. While the obvious would be on the door, he doesn't want someone to run by and yank it, deliberate or on accident. Hanging it over his bed or desk would be the optimal way to display it and keep the item safe. But on the other hand, not using it for what the sign was intended...
Meaning that ultimately, should Shoto pass by his door, he'll find the sign fastened not on the door itself, but to the wall beside it at general head height, the rope lifted above and arranged in a stylish sway that mimics an explosion setting off the wooden display.
Damn right people should know his hero name. And this is a great way to do it. Not to mention his thoughts will drift to his friend whenever Bakugo enters his room from now on. Shoto's likely going to find himself the recipient of a soba dinner coupon later on...

[He's momentarily caught off guard at the appearance of the gift outside his door. It's not his birthday and he's pretty sure a holiday didn't creep up on him. But after bringing it inside and opening the note, Katsuki recognizes the handwriting immediately.
The words are quiet and carry a bittersweet weight to them. To think this guy had to safeguard himself against someone thinking a gift had bad intentions... and still offers the choice to get rid of something that was a kind action.
Katsuki has disposed of gifts before, when he was younger and a far worse person than he is now. He isn't going to make that kind of mistake again. Especially not with the small twitch at the corner of his mouth when he sees the book. Yeah, the trip is a difficult one, with weighty memories and pain... but it wasn't a waste to be thrown out.
