SUITABILITY: Bakugo is a 17 year old hero-in-training who comes from a series modeled off western superhero comic books.
My Hero Academia already deals with mature themes such as war, elitism, marginalization, commercialism, good vs evil, stereotyping, death, etc. that require a good maturity to handle. Bakugo has experienced plenty of hardships & emotions in his journey through the story & has matured a lot as a character over the course of his series. Ironically, he's been kidnapped twice in his life, so has experience in dealing with captive situations.
While there isn't any focus on sex & very little in terms of romantic relationships in
My Hero Academia, one of Bakugo's classmates is known as "the embodiment of lust" for his perverted behavior towards girls, two other boys in his class have also shown interest in dating, & the girls in Bakugo's class held a vote on "hottest guy in class" among the boys, showing there's obviously healthy teenage hormone life going on in the characters. Bakugo hasn't shown any interest in another person or sex, but has yelled at others for acting perverted, showing he's not a prude when it comes to sex.
If there is one thing that may serve as a stumbling block, it's Bakugo's aggressive attitude & his grumpy antisocial nature. Fortunately, over the course of the series, it's been shown he's capable of making friends, such as Kirishima & Midoriya, others are amusingly drawn to him, & Bakugo's become less abrasive to being with people towards the series' end. Even his stubborn refusal to participate can be eroded if someone strikes at his pride enough to make him "I'll show you!" cooperate. Once he ends up getting involved, he takes to things naturally, in a competitive sense, wanting to be the best one there.
Bakugo also knows how to follow rules & behave even if he doesn't respect the rules laid down, shown when he accepted getting kidnapped just long enough to wait for an opening to escape & when he begrudgingly operated under Best Jeanist's frustrating internship attempts to mold him a better image. Despite his rough exterior, Bakugo knows when to pick his battles & when to grit his teeth & bear it. Additionally, as a hero, he ultimately focuses on saving & protecting people, so despite being ticked off about the hotel's erotic demands, Bakugo will ultimately capitulate in order to a) find a way back home, & b) make sure everyone else is able to escape. Finally, putting him in a situation as wild as this is going to be a fun route to flex his character & see what developments plus relationships come from it.
HISTORY: My Hero Academia is set in a world where about 80% of the human population has gained superpowers called "Quirks". Heroes are those with Quirks who work with authorities in rescue operations & arrest criminals who abuse their Quirks, known as Villains.
Izuku Midoriya dreams of becoming a Hero despite being bullied by his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo for lacking a Quirk. After an encounter with All Might, the world's greatest hero, All Might chooses Izuku to inherit his Quirk "One For All" & become his successor, as All Might was severely injured by his arch-nemesis All For One. Izuku attends U.A. High School for heroes alongside Bakugo. Over the course of the school year, Izuku & his classmates encounter the League of Villains, led by All For One's apprentice Tomura Shigaraki, who desires to kill All Might & destroy society.
After participating in a sports festival, Izuku & his classmates Shoto Todoroki & Tenya Iida defeat the villain Stain, but his final message inspires many villains to action, many of whom join the League of Villains. After the League of Villains kidnaps Bakugo, All Might & other Heroes track down the League of Villains hideout, where All For One reveals himself. Izuku & his friends rescue Bakugo as All Might battles & defeats All For One. All Might, having exhausted the last of One For All's power, is forced to retire. Izuku & his classmates pass the exam to obtain Provisional Hero Licenses & intern under various Pro Heroes. Izuku, along with Bakugo & Todoroki, intern under Todoroki's father Endeavor, Japan's new top hero following All Might's retirement.
The League of Villains defeats & merges with another villain group, forming the Paranormal Liberation Front. To counter this new threat, the Pro & Training Heroes join together in a massive operation to arrest them, leading to a war. Most of the top members of the Paranormal Liberation Front escape, including Shigaraki, who now inherits All For One's Quirk & is possessed by him. One of these top members, Dabi, reveals himself as Endeavor's long-lost son & the abuse that led him to villainy, shattering the public's trust in heroes. Thousands of imprisoned Villains, including the original All For One, break out, which alongside Dabi's revelation, cause Japan to descend into chaos & anarchy as other nations fearfully withdraw their support to Japan.
Izuku's classmate Yuga Aoyama reveals himself to be a spy for All For One, but uses that connection to lure the Villains into a trap. In the ensuing war, all of the remaining members of the Paranormal Liberation Front are defeated by the other heroes & All For One's original body is destroyed, while Izuku transfers One For All to Shigaraki to cancel all of his quirks & defeat him, allowing Shigaraki to reclaim control of his body from All For One before passing away. With the Paranormal Liberation Front defeated, heroes around the world join the effort to rebuild Japan, while Izuku returns with his classmates to U.A. to continue their studies, despite having lost the power of One For All almost completely.
NOTE: As Bakugo's personal story contains his interactions & developments along all of these major plot points anyways, I felt it was easier to recount the character's canon proper rather than do it just through his lens. I can restructure it if needed.
ABILITIES: Quirk:

STRENGTHS: Bakugo is able to secrete nitroglycerin-like sweat from his palms & ignite it at will to create explosions of various sizes, ranging from blowing up a soda can to taking down a building at max power. He uses these explosions for offense, defense, evasion, & mobility during battle, & can use them for utility & transportation reasons outside of battle. Bakugo utilizes all aspects of his Quirk during a fight: heat, light, sound, force, smoke, & flame. His Quirk works primarily as a close-range combat tool, but he has developed tactics for medium- to long-range battle. Though he does his best to keep it to a minimum, expect some collateral damage if there's a fight with Bakugo.
WEAKNESSES: Since his Quirk is fueled by his sweat, Bakugo runs the risk of dehydrating himself if he overuses it. While he's mostly immune to the recoil of his explosions, using too many too much can tax the stability of his arms. Cold, dry weather also interferes with his Quirk, as it takes longer for Bakugo to warm up & get going, while wet conditions can limit his "ammo" by wiping away some of his sweat before he can detonate all of it. Finally, since his Quirk factors are in his palms, losing his hands will render Bakugo unable to use hi Quirk.
OTHERS: Bakugo also possesses the typical shonen-manga-esque traits like enhanced strength, reflexes, durability, & stamina, as well as the keen intellect of a natural-born genius.
LIMITATION: Despite Bakugo's violent nature, he'll come to understand that the resort is inescapable & reluctantly won't attempt to rashly break out alone, so as to avoid causing harm to other prisoners. Should the majority of prisoners agree to breaking out, however, he'll certainly lend his aid, but he'll want assured success rather than a reckless charge. He's a smart guy. Not going to say he won't ever try to blow up some other guests if they get into a scuffle with him, but that's usually relegated to comical anime explosions.
VICE 1: Pride. Blessed with a powerful Quirk & natural genius, Bakugo succeeds at anything he tries to do & grew up being praised for his accomplishments. He's takes extreme pleasure in winning any competition & holds himself to high standards of excellence to prove his abilities & leave no doubts about his victory. He's rudely dismissive of other's accomplishments or worth if they don't rise to those same high standards he holds himself to. Bakugo's pride fuels a massive ego as large as it's fragile. Easily bruised & aggressively defended, he wants to be seen as powerful, smart, & capable, so does his best to avoid showing any sign of weakness or vulnerability. Challenging his success or skills is often used to goad him into doing things he initially refuses to do, as he hates being seen as a loser in any way. He's strongly motivated by his own self-worth & always seeks to better himself to stay on top. Threatening his ego, attitude, or tough guy appearance can get him to react defensively to keep it. While he can be capitulated into indulging in sexual situations, he's proven to have incorruptible morals regarding criminal activities.
VICE 2: Anger. Bakugo is rude, aggressive, violent, brash, & loud, with very little between his calm, stoic quiet & an angry explosion at setting him off. This usually comes off as childish & comical anger from a short temper in more domestic settings. His pride fuels his anger, easily irritated over people bothering him or annoying him because that wastes his time or interrupts his intended goals. Frustration or vexation at a current challenge or even over built-up issues tend to get vented with little provocation at the people around him. Granted, Bakugo's venting is his way of "fixing" the situation, as it usually comes with a threat or act of violence. Poking at his anger runs the risk of him digging his heels in stubbornly or capitulating in a rush just to get the trial over with. He can be reckless when angered, sometimes saying or doing things he quickly regrets & tries to make up or, which can be used against him as his pride refuses to be indebted to people long. He's matured away from cruel bullying like he used to be, but guilt over that rests heavy on him.
VIRTUE 1: Heroic. Despite his almost-villainous attitude, Bakugo wants to become a hero, throwing his all into his studies & training to grow stronger in this role. With the drive to never lose & the willingness to sacrifice himself if necessary to win, his stubbornness to succeed often leaves others astounded at his skill & the results it brings. While he won't ever admit to someone's face he's angry over an injustice, he's willing to fight to protect others & bring about safety or improve lives. Bakugo holds his morals tightly & takes pride in a clean slate, believing heroes should win above all else, including compromising on his values. Being corrupted would admit to vulnerability or mistakes, which he fights against viciously. He refuses to betray what makes a hero a hero & will stick to moral rules even if he finds them irritating or speaks against them. Doing otherwise would be a "loss" & heroes always win. On a side note, despite growing up in a well-off upper-middle class family, Bakugo's never shown interest in luxury, as he works hard to earn what he wants.
VIRTUE 2: Diligent. As a hero, people should be able to trust that Bakugo can do what he says he can do & that he will do it without them needing to worry about him. The notion of giving up & surrendering are nigh-impossibilities for him, as he will fight to find any way possible to claim victory. Since he holds himself to very high standards, he expects himself to be perfect & convey the image of hero who can do anything, most of all, win. Win to Save, in his opinion. Bakugo values the safety of other people most as a hero, even if he's horrible about communicating that. Seeing others in real trouble rouses him to act, as a hero should, so staying strong to ensure everyone is safe (or gets home safely) is a huge drive to resisting corruption into an idyllic lifestyle. Above all, he wants to return home because there are people he needs to protect. Preserving that goal serves as a shield against temptation to linger & he'll fight as hard as he can to remember that. He also despises kidnapping, since he's been kidnapped twice before...
SUIT REQUESTS: In order of preference.
DIAMONDS (
♦) Bakugo as a Diamond suit would be fitting given his usual rude, aggressive, & competitive attitude. When he sees something he wants, he'll go for it, a trait he picked up from his mother, who aggressively courted his father until the man accepted her feelings. Escalating that would drive a challenge between his desire to keep himself in his own control & playing off how he naturally acts. While he'll never force himself on someone, it would give an easier route to make him interact with others, since he's normally good to keep to himself. In the same vein, Bakugo likes his own space & isn't a physical person. How amusing to see him wrestle with a nagging desire to be close to other people when he's probably yelled at developing CR for trying to cuddle up with him before. Losing control of his body to illness & arousal would crash into his pride, causing him to be torn between stubbornness against the suit & submitting for the sake of regaining control of himself. The suit would be a fun dynamic to prod him with.
SPADES (
♠) Bakugo as a Spade suit would directly challenge his pride resisting any sense of corruption towards his soul. As a hero, he has a good heart despite his atrocious attitude & his maturation over his series has softened a lot of his negative traits. A suit that directly tries to awaken those darker/hidden desires & plays on his insecurities/fears (which he stalwartly denies are there) would be a clash against his usual character. He's already angry, arrogant, easily provoked, insecure, stubborn, volatile, many things the suit already encourages, so it would be a tricky slide between what's just himself & what's a corrupting influence. He would be more inclined to engage with the setting to avoid the suit's negative influence, not wanting to return to how he used to be. It would affect any potential CR oddly as they would have to figure out whether he's acting normally or under the influence, but might also trigger more instances of fights or even aggression against the hotel if he gives further into his negative traits. A fitting suit to wrestle with.
HEARTS (
♥) Bakugo as a Heart suit would be a hilarious choice because Bakugo is normally so against showing any kind of "sappy" emotion like love or kindness or affection or anything that would mess with his "tough guy" attitude. He expresses these in quiet, small ways that he feels comfortable with, so suddenly being pulled towards displaying them more openly would lead to really awkward, embarrassing moments. However, it would also prompt him to be more open to his feelings when he otherwise wouldn't, creating an easier avenue for potential CR developments at a faster rate since he couldn't deny as often.
CLUBS (
♣) Bakugo as a Club suit would be the hardest choice because Bakugo is normally very much in control of his own thoughts & actions; having him haunted by thoughts trying to break his rationale would more likely drive him to sequester himself so as to avoid being a danger to other people. He can be reckless at times, given his attitude, but even his reckless side is usually played for comedy in domestic settings & countered by sharp foresight in combat situations. Granted, once he realized what the suit is doing, he'd be more inclined to engage with potential CR to avoid having to deal with the influence.
RANK REQUESTS: Either 7, 6, or 5, for initial assignment, but I'm honestly good with whatever the choice is. He'll try to climb the ranks regardless of where he starts.

Smoke trails upward from so many destroyed or hobbled machines, sparks fitzing and last dregs of power sputtering before a sagging clank. All that remains is a towering H-shaped building and two figures standing atop its glass frame. Red eyes burn within his black mask, gloved fingers curling into fists over and over. Sparks crackling and pop in a threatening flare around his left hand. Bakugo Katsuki. These bastards think they can walk in here and get past him? Don't fuck with him. The only ones left are at least worth slaughtering. Weaklings would've been shaved off by the other trials.]
Ka-booM! Light and heat erupt from Bakugo's hand as he ignites an explosion and rockets into the air. Wind screams past his face and hair before a second explosion catches his blitz in a rebound. Popped up right above the floor in a short hop, and lands on his feet with a solid crunch of boots on concrete. A piece of metal crushes underfoot before he kicks it aside, narrowed gaze focusing on the Outsiders in front of him. Smoke seems to drifts from the corners of his mouth as Dynamight straightens up, a threatening clack of machinery sounding as multiple rectangular guns and cannons ratchet into active mode around his head and shoulders. Ammo belts dangle from their sides and backs, fueled by the grenade-shaped bracers bulging at both arms. Yeah. Both. An explosion detonates hard and strong above his right hand, no longer safely strung at his side while recovering from its injury. Whether he's aware of his own limitations or the rift corruption's giving a healing boost is unknown. Curiously, a long lash of what looks like a chainsaw chain loops in a diagonal around his torso, from left shoulder to right hip. What it's here for, who knows. Maybe someone does. Dynamight's here, at full power, ready to clean up the mess from his school's courtyard.]
