And there is Yuji, lying in bed, his left arm strapped to his chest in a sling, looking very pale. His left shoulder has what looks like layers and layers of bandages around them, and he winces as he waves. ]

[Bakugo actually... doesn't look that much better either. One shoulder's visibly done up in bandages, there's one on his cheek, his forearm's wrapped, and a finger's in a splint. Pants cover two other areas, but that's what you get when a giant lizard tries to eat you.

He closes the door behind him quietly, then shoots Yuji a glare at the meeting.]

Urusei. They're sleeping. [Voice quiet, to take note of the others around. He approaches Yuji's bed and takes a look at him.] Tch... First time I've seen you in bed.

[ Yuji only looks as good as he does thanks to his new healing technique: he was much worse when Choso dragged him in here and left him to try and recover once the staff kicked him out. Shifting, he pushes himself up and wiggles over.

Bakugo can sit beside him on the bed if he wants. ]

Fine, fine. [ He waves his hand and sighs. ] Yeah, the geckos electrocuted my nanobots and messed with my cursed technique, so I couldn't heal myself properly.

[Without Recovery Girl, Bakugo's left tending to his wounds via the medical staff and himself. He'd gotten used to having that old lady around. Though this might be better than getting kissed by those fat lips each time. Not that Bakugo was IN the medical room that much...

He takes a seat on the bed beside Yuji's legs once the other's up and scooted.]

I see. [Explains a lot. Stripping the bag off reveals few bento boxes, saved over from the Hanami festival.] Didn't think it'd fuck with your cursed technique.

[ Yuji reaches out immediately to just hold his hand, because his nanobots are working now, and he can help make things better! Suffer, Bakguo.

Humming softly, he closes his eyes to think. ]

[Bakugo glances down at the red-skinned clawed grip that takes his own hand. But there's no twitch to pull away or tension of annoyance. Yuji's earned the privilege to touch without bark or protest.]

[That said... He uses his other hand to open one of the chilled trays, then fishes out a pair of chopsticks.]

He's not wrong. [And if curse techniques operate like Quirks, then they're also part of the body and can become affected by the same "blown fuse" the rest can.] I couldn't use my Quirk when I got stunned either.

[ Yuji just laughs softly, shaking his head. ]

Bakugo picks up a shrimp sashimi piece with the chopsticks and holds it to Yuji's mouth.]

[If Yuji's going to try and use his sling-bound arm to reach for the food, he's gonna get snarled at... and his other one's still holding Bakugo's, though since they're in contact now, he could do any further healing through that touch instead.

[ ... Yuji just laughs a little, leaning in to bite, chomp. It's so good... ]

Mm. I need to get home for sure this time.

[ He leans a little harder into Bakugo. ]

And I want to protect the people that matter to me.

[Bakugo frowns at the press and comment... before leaning over to rest his mouth against the side of Yuji's head.]

[ Yuji's cheeks heat up a little, but he lets himself sink into the warmth of Bakugo's embrace.

He's safe here, isn't he? Wounded as they both are... If the geckos found them... They'd be safe. ]

[There better not be any fucking geckos crawling around the damn hospital!

There. He finds Yuji's hand after getting the bento settled again.]

[ Nice, perfect. Yuji has always been an affectionate kind of guy, so this comes to him naturally, sliding closer with a soft hum. ]
