Bakugo.

Perhaps I should have been more diligent in hand-to-hand combat training. My shortcomings are very apparent here. Not that the possibly controlled people here are skilled combatants, but...there are many.

I've kept my powers hidden for a very long time. I've never had them completely cut off before. It's...I cannot hear the cloud songs....

I'm doing what I can to keep the others here safe. Some are ill, or hallucinating. Otherwise, we are fine. Something other than the attendants watches us. We're destroying as many relic skulls as we can.

I'm sure you will still have critiques on how I handled the situation. I look forward to sparring with you again when this is all over.

[ When Bakugo opens his door today he'll find a small collection of items waiting for him:

A physical copy of The Anatchist's Cookbook
A simple holster made out of gray scales, the perfect size to fit a set of handcuffs.
A dead fish.

There's no note or signature owing to the fact Godzilla doesn't know how to write. But who else is gray scaled, fish inclined, and so literal they'd send the Explosions guy a book about making explosions ~~and smashing the state but in Goji's defense he didn't read that far.~~]

[So, after their lovely network spat on Friday, Yato decides to make some plans. Oh yes indeedy. He waits ever so patiently for when Bakugo will be out of his room - for work, whatever. Doesn't matter. Point is, the kid's gone for the day. And then he teleports in loaded to the hilt with boxes of duct tape. Rolls and rolls and rolls of the stuff. Miles of it.

Why?

For his "little" idea of turning Bakugo's room into a sticky, silver hell. He works all day taping the furniture up, covering the bed, replacing the bedding with duct tape "sheets" and "pillows", tapes up the bedside table and even the little kitchenette, so that the faucet and knobs are covered, too. He even weaves a duct tape rug to go on the floor, duct tapes the chairs, and wraps up the bookcase so everything on it is inaccessible. He doesn't touch the personal belongings, though, carefully placing them back in their original spots. But he does make up some duct tape curtains and silvery flowers to go in a duct tape vase he's made beforehand.

All this he accomplishes with gusto and glee, before leaving a duct tape card with a note inside, reading:]

( Left outside Bakugo's door is a cheerful little gift bag with THANK YOU! emblazoned on it in bright cartoon letters. Inside he will find a fat, fluffy spider plushie. Then tucked underneath the toy is a box of six donuts and three teeny tiny bottles of alcohol of varying choice because Vash did not know what to opt for and the size of them was kind of funny. There's no note. It's very ~ mysterious ~.

[On the night of the 24th, Yato dons a borrowed Santa suit and starts making the rounds throughout the LILITH base, toting a large sack full of goodies for those he knows best. Instead of leaving presents outside of rooms where they might get snatched or messed with, he opts to teleport into the rooms of his friends in order to leave a little something on their desk: a carefully wrapped present in gold paper with curly ribbons for Bakugo. Inside which he'll find a hand-carved figure of All Might posed together with a mini Dynamight staring adoringly at him, complete with stars in his eyes. Because he thought it was cute. It's got nothing to do with mocking him! Hopefully he'll realize that. There's also a nice Christmas cake with unlit sparklers perched alongside the box, just as an added bonus. Because everybody loves cake, right?!

Included with the gift is a small card, reading thus:

Best wishes for the holiday season, Bakugo! Hope this brings you at least a small smile. You can cut loose since there's nobody around, right? And hey, at least I didn't get you a gag gift! I seriously thought about doing that, but this is a time of year where sincerity counts so I'll save it for later, hehe~ Have an excellent Christmas!

[ Early in the morning, the unreasonable time that was almost slated to be a permanent monthly kaiju roar check, Godzilla has made his way through the halls of the base distributing presents, clad in a santa hat of course. Outside Bakugo's door he'll find presents wrapped in red paper tied up with neat little ribbons of white that... look like they're supposed to resemble a fuse? Cute. And of course there's an entire fish on top of it, with a red ribbon tied around it and tag attached that reads "From; ゴジラ" To; Friend Bakugo.

The gifts are as follows:
One (1) The complete collection of Wold's Wildest Police Videos (With Sherrif John Bunnell). A relic from centauries past, complete with digital code to access the episodes on Bakugo's ocular implant! That's 69 total episodes! (NICE!)
One (1) thermal liquid container shaped like a classic pineapple grenade, the lid of which can serve as a bowl. Perfect for coffee, protein shakes, or soup on long patrols!
One (1) portable zen garden set. Perfect for the dorm room, car, or work desk! Contains little figures of capybaras and spikey hedgehog friends! The most calming of animals. ( He means well with this one... )

[ xmas gift time!

denji picked the right time to deliver his gift. it was his turn to take the godawful night shift, from 11:00 pm until the early morning. he waited for bakugou to fall asleep, and made sure his boyfriend was snoozing before he left the big, wrapped box on the empty side of his bed. beautifully wrapped in gross christmas colors and ribbons, with a card attached.

inside he will find dynamight figurine, mimicking all might's infamous pose, the smile is not as wide but more fitted to bakugou's nature. the details, paint works, and materials seemed expensive and well-made. next to him is a tiny, weird pup with a chainsaw sticking out of his head. which bakugou will recognize as pochita from past shared memories. since he's a lot smaller, pochita is looking upward at bakugou — holding his paw high as if copying his pose, smiling.

card reads: I want to be an amazing hero like you! merry xmas! - from denji and pochita 🐾 ]

[ A wrapped package can be found at Bakugo's door after the Christmas Party. Unwrapping it reveals a set of stress balls. They're golden, very shiny and come with an instruction manual for anger management.

There is a message with the gift, written on a Christmas postcard: ]

Bakugo,

I believe you are a really good kid who just needs some help to manage your emotions. I have many routines I have developed and learned to deal with my anxiety, you shouldn't hesitate to ask me if you need help with that.

( Wrapped in fairly obvious donut paper comes Vash's gift. Inside is various little items:

- a ramen dishtowel
- a set of chopstick holders
- a haunted house christmas ornament
- and an assortment of different flavoured packets of poprocks.
- a keychain that says #1 hero on it.

There's also a hand drawn card by one of the kids, though it's Vash's scrawl inside: Bakugo! Happy holidays!!! No alcohol this time because I'm a law abiding citizen! We'll hang out soon! - Vash. )

[ Left on Katsuki's doorstep is a box, covered in pink wrapping paper and a huge pink bow, which is probably a giveaway of just who the present is from. Inside is a bunch of gifts, all individually wrapped:

🐯 A set of grenade stress balls, which he thought were very funny.
🐯 Some hand made chocolates in the shape of a tiger, which look way better than the ones he had made all those months before - clearly, he's been practising.
🐯 One white tiger plushie (and should Katsuki visit Yuji's room, he will see Yuji has a matching normal tiger one, and if you put them near each other magnets in their paws have them hold hands, but he isn't telling him that part just yet!)
🐯 Some polaroids of himself, Raidou, Denji and their various other friends, stuck in a scrap book with doodles and notes around each one.
🐯 Pre-paid tickets to the laser tag place, with a little note saying 'you're on!'
🐯 A hoodie, in a green colour, that definitely matches Yuji's traditional red one.
🐯 A deck of Uno cards, because, haha. That's how they met.

Things have been really hard here, for both of us. You know I don't like sharing how I feel with people or talking about things, but you've always been there to take care of me and drag it out of me when I needed it. I know I can trust you, and I know you'll believe in me just like I believe in you.

Before I came here, I didn't have a lot of friends. I wasn't really popular in middle school and in high school we had missions, and I had Megumi and Kugisaki, but coming here has let me meet so many amazing people, and you're one of them. You're one of the best people I've ever met, and my best friend, too. I'm lucky every day that you're still here and we're able to fight with each other.

I believe in you. I'm glad you believe in me, too.

[ Aki is not a man for a lot of fanfare, so Bakugo's gift is left on his doorstep, wrapped in plain blue paper.

Inside is some chocolate, a gift card to a local clothing branch and some tickets to the arcade, for him and Denji. There's also a little note: Thank you for taking care of him. - Aki ]

[ There's a big box outside Bakugou's room on Christmas morning. Like bigger than him, even, and heavy! What's inside it is a big sandbag perfect for punching the absolute bonkers out of at his leisure. ]

(On Christmas day, Bakugo will receive a gift from Tsurumaru! It's in a little gift bag stuffed with colorful tissue paper. Nestled among the paper is an origami crane to let Bakugo know who the gift is from. Inside, he will find,

- A box of crystal jelly candy. The outside is a delicate sugar crystal shell with a soft jelly candy center.
- Spiced chocolate bark with chili flakes
- A hot chocolate bomb)

[There is a box wrapped in paper made to mimic the starry night sky. Or a galaxy. It’s set on Bakugo's writing desk, since the sender has been crashing in his room pretty regularly lately. Inside is a pair of bright orange thermal gloves, equipped with similar technology as Bakugo’s hero uniform. The idea is to let the hero have access to his quirk in a casual setting without having to don a whole outfit in the winter cold. ~~Dan Heng would figure out how to commission something like this, heck if I know lol~~

A small bag of spicy popping candy is also in the box. Like pop-rocks but spicy.

As well as a small note written in very careful, meticulous calligraphy.]

[One night, at ass o' clock in the morning, Bakugo gets a call from his favorite (?) god. Were not for caller ID it might be difficult at first to tell it's him, because there's nothing but giggling the whole while. Like something out of a horror film. Yeesh.

Then it's as if Yato finally realizes the damn thing is on and speaks up, drawing out most words far longer than they should be. Except for Bakugo's name. Which he seems instead to simply like the sound of.]
