[This may be their first date, but the fact he's attracted to Manjoume isn't a secret. And if it means enjoying watching the other guy squirm for a while, why the hell not? Hopefully the food will distract Manjoume enough that he won't be stuck on it all that long. The grill's going to be interactive after all.

Bakugou makes a noise when he's pulled, but they get into the restaurant without a problem. Hopefully can get a seat without being recognized either...]

Try not to get burned tonight.

[So far, so good in not getting recognized too quickly--the staff here are currently busier than the staff at the movie theater was, distracted with customers who are also distracted with trying to eat for now. The person who points them to an open spot barely even looks up from their stuff, in fact, so they should be able to sit down without too much fuss.

At the comment, Manjoume scowls a little.]

Shut up. I'm not so clumsy that I'd get burned using the grill here.

[He may be a little hopeless in a kitchen in comparison to Bakugou, but he at least knows how to use the grill here! ... Though he may have been distracted enough here to somehow miss the innuendo that was thrown at him at the same time, whoops.]

[Good. He doesn't want to deal with a bunch of people staring at them or trying to take sneaky photos of them while they're eating. The staff doing the same would be even worse. Something to be said for hoods, hats, and shades. Manjoume's hair is pretty damn easily recognized. Oh well. If things get bad, they can just up and leave.]

Who said the grill's gonna burn you? [Bakugou grins across the table, though he can't kick a leg over to nudge at Manjoume's because there's a fucking table stand and heater down below! So he'll just have to do it with his eyes. The grill's turned on before the server leaves them with menus, warming up while they look over the options.]

You've been to one of these before, right? [Of course the big options are whether they want to go more meat, more vegetables, or half way with both.]

[There's a moment of squinting, and then... oh. Manjoume puts his menu up in front of his face in an attempt to hide the blushing now.

It's safe to say that he got the innuendo that time.]

Y-yeah, of course I have, like once? So I know how to use it.

[As for what to get...]

I think I'd want to go with more meat, or half way with both meat and vegetables? What do you think?

[Smirk. Thought so. Menu up, Bakugou scans through the options. There's quite the combination choices, some similar with a few minor variations in type and amount, but others that are vastly different in both ingredients and ratio.]

Halfway. They have a San Combo on the second page. [An assortment of chicken, beef, and seafood alongside vegetables for grilling and four different seasoning sauces. Plus a side of rice or noddles.] There's also ala carte options.

Oh, a san combo you say...

[He goes to the second page to look. Sure enough, that sounds really appealing.... especially if he can get shrimp as his choice of seafood... its probably not quite the same as having fried shrimp, but he is curious enough to have grilled shrimp to compare with...]

[If Manjoume wants to substitute the majority of the meat for shrimp, Bakugou's not going to stop him, though probably saves some chicken and beef before putting the rest of the "meat points" into the shrimp and one or two other seafood varieties. Psh, if Manjoume's never had grilled shrimp, he's gonna get his damn tongue blown out of his mouth once he gets to taste it.

Plus Bakugou's asking the kitchen for some additional seasonings as well as their sauces, since he wants to have a flavor explosion. He won't spice up Manjoume's food unless he wants him to.

For a dragon deck, the duelist doesn't like breathing fire much... Pussy.]

They'll bring some samplers out first.

[Manjoume is not going to be too greedy here and take the majority of the meat points into shrimp, he'll at least be considerate enough to let Bakugo get enough of what he wants here too. As for the seasonings... well, maybe he'll sample some of whatever Bakugo gets in that department, because boyfriend privileges means he can get away with stealing a little bit of Bakugo's food and vice versa. Probably.

Even if there's a good chance that Bakugo's is going to be potentially spicier than what Manjoume can normally handle...]

[Bakugou's not nice enough to let someone monopolize what they're eating if it's not to his tastes. Even his boyfriend doesn't escape that treatment. But at the same time, he likes shrimp as well, so it's not a negative to let it go that route.

Seasonings, however, he's definitely getting a healthy variety to play with. If they're going to be grilling and cooking, might as well have some fun! Manjoume gets to steal, that's not a surprise (to Manjoume). Other people would be weirded out thinking the guy could ever steal from someone like Bakugou.

And yes, taking a piece of Bakugou's food runs the risk of burning one's tongue off.]

[Sure enough, once the orders have been placed and samplers have been brought over, Manjoume leans over a little in his seat to try to get a better look at what Bakugou's gotten here.]

Why am I not surprised that you ordered what looks like the spiciest seasonings this place has to offer?

[Says the bitch who is almost certainly going to try to steal a piece of his boyfriend's food to try it anyway...]

[Ask an obvious question, get a bullshit answer, though Bakugou's grin suggests he's pleased by the acknowledgement. indeed, he did gt the spiciest option, because he likes to judge restaurants by their seasonings.

If Manjoume wants to try and steal a piece, he's more than welcome to. Bakugou picks up a few of the log-like rice cakes and drops them on the grill with a steaming hiss to get them cooking.]

You want one raw?

Nah, I'll wait until they're ready on the grill before I take one of those.

[He's like that with shrimp too, despite it being one of his favorites--he prefers it cooked in some fashion over raw shrimp if he can help it. But he is definitely going to steal one of Bakugou's rice cakes to sample with the seasoning once it's finished...]

[Most people don't eat raw shrimp in the first place. Even sushi generally uses cooked shrimp compared to fish. Bakugou starts to turn the rice cakes as they cook, using the cooking chopsticks to do so rather than his own. While obviously he and Manjoume have kissed before, it's still tactful to use a separate set. He opts not to put sauce on them while grilling, not wanting to cook the sauce onto the grill for these at least. But once they've got a nice crispy exterior, he doles them out between them, a little steamy and smokey and perfect for cutting and/or dipping.]

Don't burn your mouth.

[Try telling that to the sushi place at my grocery store that makes raw yellowtail shrimp sushi...]

You don't have to tell me that.

[He has some sense of giving it a second to cool! ... Maybe not enough sense as he tries it with one of Bakugou's spicy seasonings here soon after, and proceeds to make a face, albeit very quickly one he attempts to hide that it as he attempts to make his resulting cough sound more like a scoff.]

[That better? Bakugou blows on the food a few times before popping it into his mouth. The fun part is eating it right off the grill, though they have plates to transfer to if wanted. He smirks when Manjoume can only muster up a quick hide of that spice-twisted expression rather than masking it entirely. Not so much the cough afterwards.

Definitely burned his mouth on something...]

So that's just me making you sweat?

[They usually use it for their nigiri, and occasionally in the maki rolls. The former is pretty good, the latter I didn't care for.]

Sh--shut up, don't be ridiculous!

[Despite his response, he sounds like he's trying not to laugh too. How dare you say something so corny right now while his tongue is burning...]

[I'll do some raw fish, but raw crustacean, I dunno... Might have to give it a try if I see it though?]

[Bakugou toys with the idea of making Manjoume show him his tongue, but ends up deciding that'd be fucking stupid looking in the middle of a populated restaurant.]

[He passes Manjoume one of the pieces of uncooked rice cake. The cool, mashable cake should help soothe his tongue and get any remaining hot sauce off.]

[Honestly, he might have actually showed his tongue if Bakugou had asked, but instead he accepts one of the pieces of uncooked rice cake with a slightly grumpy noise.]

[It does in fact help, a balm against his crying tongue, making it easier to recover and return to eating his next rice cake once it's cooked, albeit this time dipping it in something far less spicy than Bakugou's hellish choice of seasoning on the second go-around.]

[It should do well enough to help soothe the burn, mashing the cold piece around on his tongue. Drinking water just spreads the heat and only dilutes it slightly. Once Manjoume's got it, Bakugou loads a few more pieces onto the grill, just in time for the next round to arrive.

A collection of thin-sliced meats and vegetables, along with two bowls of shrimp for starters. Heh, he notices the lack of a second helping. Hey, at least his boyfriend's brave enough to go for a sample. The grill sizzles with another assortment of food.]

Our schools aren't graduating on the same day. You gonna come?

[To his, obviously.]

[Manjoume almost misses the question, distracted by grilling and eating the shrimp that has arrived, but once he swallows his current mouthful of food.]

Yeah, of course I can come, if you want me there for it.

[At least he's not bothering to repeat the question. Bakugou picks a shrimp off the grill and dips it in the hot sauce before putting it to mouth.]

I'll get you an invitation.

[Not going to SAY he wants him there... but he obviously does.]

Sounds good. I'll make sure to get you an invitation for mine as well.

[... Provided that the end of the world doesn't happen a-fucking-again close to the day of the actual graduation ceremony...

Not that Manjoume will say either that he wants Bakugou there... but obviously he does too.]

[There, that'll make sure the surest that Manjoume gives it to him. They can even do a trade like a pair of stupid saps who won't admit they want each to come to their graduation. Like idiots. At least the hero aspect isn't threatening to erupt in another civil war anytime soon. It's been two years since the Final War, so... that's something.]

[Yeah, at least there's that. Now if only the card game powers that be bullshit would catch on to the memo that its time to stop trying to end the world so often...

It occurs to Manjoune, faintly, that this means he will have to introduce Bakugou to some of his classmates if the other does attend his graduation, so after another mouthful of food he asks--]

Have you told anyone about us yet?

[Shhh, they only try to do that once or twice a season, and that's over in a different area per season. Bakugou doesn't get involved much in the Duel Monsters issues, but he'd be pissed if his boyfriend got taken out by one.

Especially since they're going to graduate and he wants his boyfriend to be there. As for introductions, Manjoume brings up a point and Bakugou frowns slightly. He lays down a strip of chicken to watch it sizzle.]

I don't talk about that stuff with other people. It's none of their business.
