[Bakugou just grunts in acknowledgement as the waiter leaves. Manjoume could use a refill anyways. Not that cold water would really help with something spicy... It's temporary at best. You'd need yogurt or milk for instant relief. It's more fun to watch Manjoume fume at him. Chopsticks slide around a broccoli floret and he picks it off the grill.]

You make it easy.

[thundercrashes]

I do not. You're just ridiculous.

[He denies immediately, turning his own attention to his meal now. Still... despite his embarrassment, he is in fact thinking about what comes after having made that proposal to begin with, and it isn't going to happen until they actually finish eating and leave, so now he seems awfully focused on doing just that, now picking up several pieces of food with his chopsticks off the grill and taking a bite much faster than before.

Plus, the faster they get out of here, the faster he can avoid more people potentially seeing and finally recognizing that the one being so flustered over here is Manjoume Thunder...]

Uh-huh.

[He doesn't admit to that for a second. Though seeing Manjoume speeding up his food raises a curiosity in him. He said that as a joke, taunting him for the words, but with the reaction across from him... is the duelist really thinking about doing what they just said? Bakugou picks up pieces from the grill, mind playing over the idea in his head as he savors the grilled meat and vegetables.

Fuck you, huh.

Someone's got balls if he thinks that's going to happen so easily. At least Bakugou's not going to make it any harder for Manjoume for the meal, while the waiter refills the duelist's water and skirts off to probably talk to someone in the kitchen about recognizing the duelist and hero sharing a table.]

[thundercrashes]

[Eventually, the bill is being brought to the table since it looks like they're winding down, but once the waiter hands Manjoume the bill, they suddenly turn toward Bakugou, fidgeting for a second before finally speaking--]

"Hey, ah... before you guys leave, if it's not too much trouble for me to ask... you're that hero Dynamight, right? Could I get your autograph?"

[Looks like it's Bakugou's turn to be on the receiving end of attention and a fan asking for his autograph.]

[As soon as the waiter turns towards him, Bakugou knows exactly what's about to happen. Dammit! And they were almost out of here without anyone making a fucking deal out of it!

"That hero" Dynamight. How can something be an insult and a compliment at the same time? Bakugou's half inclined to give him an autograph across the face- BOOM -but he's more mature than to act on those thoughts.]

You want it on you face or something?

[Still gonna snarl at him since there's no paper or pen or shit.]

[thundercrashes]

"Oh, sorry! Here!"

[A pen and notepad are getting shoved into Bakugou's face just inches away from his nose. Manjoume, for his part, is trying really hard to not snicker at this while he gets his wallet out to pay for the bill.]

[This is why fans fucking annoy him! Half of them are greedy and the other half are vapid. All of them are noisy and shallow/obsessed and it bothers him a lot.

Despite being a little kid who idolized All Might just like these fans when he was a little shit. Even if Bakugou would always hold that he was a way more mature fan.

Bakugou snatches the duo from his face before the waiter can stick the pen in his damn eye. He would've kicked that snickering asshole under the table, but there's a heater in the way.

A quick sign makes for a neat and efficient signature, complete with the burst at the end he uses because somewhere in his cool, badass persona, the nerdy child remains alive and well, having created and practiced signatures he'd give out as a Pro all the way back when he was 4.]

Don't shove shit in people's faces unless you want it crammed down your throat.

[Words of advice as he passes the notepad and pen back. Without the throat cramming.]

"Ah... yes, sir. I'll keep that in mind, Dynamight-san."

[Okay yeah, Manjoume is definitely unable to keep from laughing over here as the waiter quickly grabs his card to run for the meal. Once he's gone, Manjoume gives his boyfriend a raise of the eyebrow.]

Seriously? That's the parting heroic remark you'll leave your fan there with?

[Getting "sir"ed when he was just 19 feels fucking strange, though the "Dynamight-san" is something he's gotten used to over the past two years.

Though Bakugou's not focused on the damn waiter anymore and instead locking eyes, glaring eyes, with his boyfriend across the table. Bastard can't keep his blasted mouth shut, can it, snickering it up over there with that popped eyebrow.]

Haa?! You want me to stick my fist up and crow "Sanda" in the middle of the restaurant?

[Look, it's dorky as fuck, Manjoume! Even though Bakugou finds it equally endearing too. Mostly because Manjoume does it with such conviction and his fans love it.]

[thundercrashes]

Yes, actually.

In fact, I dare you to actually do it. Right now, right here in front of everyone.

[Said with the tone of a guy who doesn't think you'll actually do it, chicken.]

[There are times when he sees a challenge like this and walks off because it's fucking stupid. And then there are the majority of other times... when people challenge him like this, and Bakugou's pride doesn't let him walk away.

At least they already paid... meaning he can shoot the other guy a smug ass glare as he slides out of his side of the booth.]

We're going. So fucking move it, Sanda!

[Complete with fist up in a threatening gesture to get Manjoume to do exactly that. Not exactly the letter of the law, but definitely clearing the dare. His own way.]

[Instead of being threatened by that gesture, Manjoume is instead snickering because he didn't think Bakugou would actually do anything, but it's still funny that he made an attempt anyway. He even copies the fist up gesture too before he slides out of the booth makes to stand... only to realize that everyone is staring at them now and whispering, a few taking out their phones.]

"No way, is that--" "Yeah, I think I know those guys, they're--"

[Welp, time to go! Let's hustle out of here before we potentially get a crowd trying to demand attention from both of them at once now.]

[Bakugou's already dropped his fist, stuffed his hands into his pockets, and is stalking out the door in his usual grumpy poise. He's leaving Manjoume (not really) and the rest of the people in the restaurant behind before they get into some other annoying fan gathering wanting their autographs, pictures, and whatever else. To say nothing of someone taking a picture and sending it into the fucking tabloids. Something's going to be said about the two out here today.

He waits for Manjoume outside to catch up to him, then resumes walking. Really, for a first date, he had no complaints. The food was good, Manjoume didn't suck at cooking, conversation was fine.]

Brat.

[thundercrashes]

[Manjoume thankfully manages to catch up to Bakugou here, slipping away before any fans at the restaurant could potentially catch him. Upon hearing what the other boy says though, he frowns.]

Who are you calling a brat?

[blastedass]

[Bakugou eases his steps until Manjoume can walk shoulder to shoulder with him. Luckily no one's coming after them from the restaurant.]

No idea. Couldn't possibly be you.

[thundercrashes]

Uh-huh, sure.

[You're not fooling us here, Bakugou. He double checks to make sure that no one from the restaurant is in fact following them before he drops his voice lower.]

If we cross this street here, we can take the quickest route that will take us back to my place.

[Rgggh!! How bad is it to punch the guy you just went out on a first date with? Really bad? Shit. He'll have to avoid doing that then... even when he really wants to!

Bakugo glowers across the road, then heads for the crosswalk. Because he's not going to jaywalk the street like some hoodlum. There's rules, you know.]

I'm following you.

[Listen, Manjoume also briefly thought about punching Bakugou at the restaurant... but that probably would have been bad kosher for both a first date and a guy that he wants to bring home with him after.

Speaking of which, it shouldn't take them long at all to get to where Manjoume is currently staying. Once they get inside the elevator, Manjoume punches the button for his floor before he speaks.]

It's a little plain, but that's just 'cause I haven't really bothered with making it look more personal or whatever yet.

[Too busy thinking about his studies and future career and all that. It's almost funny though when he thinks about it, how over the past several years he's gone from insisting on having the most expensive unnecessary things, to simply being glad if it's a room he can rest decently in.]

[Also Bakugou's been known to punch back. And he's likely got a much harder right hook than Manjoume. But luckily neither of them had the impetus to go full on offensive. They can save that for pillows or something juvenile.

Bakugou stands to the side of the elevator, leaving Manjoume to deal with the buttons, though he's usually the one that wants to push the button... At least it's not crowded in here, which would be fucking annoying.]

Cause you're not here often or just don't care?

[The "yet" seems to indicate it's either, but it's not like Bakugou stuffs his room to the brim with shit. Simple, neat, with his own kind of style, is his preference in room. His dorm room at U.A. reflects that well enough.]

Ehh, a bit of both? Plus I don't have that much stuff these days to worry about interior decorating or whatever you wanna call it anyway.

[rip to his fancy art collection and other expensive shit that went toward making the osiris red dorm liveable instead before his brothers cut him off from spending the family money on that sort of thing]

[Even without his family support, Manjoume was a famous Duelist with multiple marketing ventures. Or marketable appeal. Either or, it shouldn't be hard for him to land himself sponsorship deals and other financial gains.

Sometimes Bakugou wonders if the guy could wrest control of his family's finances back, but knows Manjoume doesn't want to deal with that responsibility either. He's his own person, not just some family-company lackey.]

I was--am.

[He quickly corrects, a little hastily.]

I just don't want to rely on our family's estate to pay for shit like this right now.

[Not until he can prove that he can make it on his own without them. Make enough money to practically throw the money they spent on him for his Duel Academy tuition right back in their faces...]

[Bakugou quirks a brow at the correction but doesn't argue it. Manjoume would know more than him. And he can respect not wanting to rely on his family. That would give his shit brothers something to say.]

Hmph. I see. [He looks around the place as he takes a wander. It's still fairly impressive despite being rather empty right now.] You'll make plenty once you top national tournaments.

[Provided Juudai doesn't enter. Manjoume has a poor track record against him, unfortunately.]

[Given how Juudai has been lately... Manjoume suspects that there is a high likelihood that the other boy isn't going to be entering any tournaments anytime soon, let alone doing any internships or the like as Manjoume has been doing to try to get his career jumpstarted ahead of graduation like this when he's in the city and not at school on the island.]

Of course I will. It's practically only a matter of time before I'll be one of the most well off duelists in the nation.

[Juudai's choices are his own. Unless his friends decide to go grab him and drag him back into wherever with them, he's going to do whatever he wants. Bakugou's not going to advice his boyfriend on how to handle his friend outside of that kind of advice. They had to fight Midoriya to bring him back to U.A. when he went emo rouge.

They'll do it again if they ever have to. 99% never going to have to though.]

Heh. You could even upgrade to a queen bed.
