[There, that'll make sure the surest that Manjoume gives it to him. They can even do a trade like a pair of stupid saps who won't admit they want each to come to their graduation. Like idiots. At least the hero aspect isn't threatening to erupt in another civil war anytime soon. It's been two years since the Final War, so... that's something.]

[Yeah, at least there's that. Now if only the card game powers that be bullshit would catch on to the memo that its time to stop trying to end the world so often...

It occurs to Manjoune, faintly, that this means he will have to introduce Bakugou to some of his classmates if the other does attend his graduation, so after another mouthful of food he asks--]

Have you told anyone about us yet?

[Shhh, they only try to do that once or twice a season, and that's over in a different area per season. Bakugou doesn't get involved much in the Duel Monsters issues, but he'd be pissed if his boyfriend got taken out by one.

Especially since they're going to graduate and he wants his boyfriend to be there. As for introductions, Manjoume brings up a point and Bakugou frowns slightly. He lays down a strip of chicken to watch it sizzle.]

I don't talk about that stuff with other people. It's none of their business.

[Do they know he's dating? ... Eeeh, some of them suspect?]

[Manjoume nods along to that, though he does have to awkwardly admit...]

I did tell Shishou--Fubuki-san, I mean, because he ended up figuring it out immediately that I was no longer single. [On account of the fact that Manjoume had ended up not reacting to something about Asuka like he normally would have, and therefore made it so obvious it wasn't even funny as Fubuki gripped his shoulders, going on and on and on about how proud he was of his disciple finally being able to land someone.]

He was really embarrassing about it, but... I don't think he told anyone else, so it's just him that knows so far.

[It's also not like either of them have to be front and center at each other's graduation. Bakugou's not asking Manjoume to sit in the stands with his parents, for fuck's sake. He can hang in the wings like an edgy shadowlord for all the hero cares. They can meet later and have personal congratulations. Or something like that.]

That Black Dragon sham? [Bakugou's never been fond of the guy, since he often tries to mess with Manjoume's love life (even if encouraging) and ends up getting his boyfriend's embarrassed as fuck over it. Certainly hasn't tried to let it naturally go at its pace... then again, it's not like Bakugou's fond of anyone trying to chart someone else's river.

He waves the issue off.] It'll get out one way or another.

[They're a pair of high profile people. And fans are fucking insane.]

[He may have been ultimately useless in helping with Manjoume's love life, but he's still Shishou!! And his friend, more importantly, but don't make him have to admit to having friends, ugh.]

But, you're right, it's probably going to get out sooner or later. If it's any consolation, the people I know are probably going to like you.

[... Except for his brothers, whom he... really kind of hopes doesn't try to call him up later if the news does hit and berate him for his choices in his love life, because fuck them, he doesn't need that kind of stress.]

[Bakugou picks another piece off the grill and wraps it in a cabbage leaf before dipping it into the sauce. Just calling it like he sees it, Manjoume. Self-professed love gurus who don't help someone in their love life one bit is the equivalent of a sham, no?]

[Other people's opinions don't bother Bakugou. He says while being picky about the image he wants to shove onto people. He's more concerned about villains getting the idea they could go after Manjoume to get to Dynamight. Not that Manjoume's an easy target for multiple reasons...]

Those extras won't leave you alone.

[Either the girls finding Manjoume attractive, the guys finding him cool, the idiots finding his temper as fun as Bakugou's, the stylish ones like Manjoume's status, the nerds wanting to do All The Card things, etc.]

[Also fair, and that gets a slight smile out of Manjoume as he retrieves some cooked food from the grill, copying Bakugou here as he wraps it in a cabbage leaf.]

Good, 'cause I was going to say the same thing if there was anyone in your circle that suddenly decides they have a problem with me.

[And sure, maybe there was a concern to be had that maybe some villain out there might try to get one over on Bakugou by hurting or kidnapping Manjoume; it's not like he hasn't thought of the risk before. But as much as he complains about his Duel Spirits, they are more likely to actually tell him if someone was stalking him or otherwise suspicious in some manner and thus warn him ahead of time so that he can plan a way out of that kind of situation... as such:]

I'm not worried. So you don't have to be either.

Hmph. If they have a problem with you, kick their fucking asses.

[He bites through the cabbage wrap, quickly tilting his head to catch any drips. Back into his bowl of sauce for another dipping. No one in his class would find Manjoume annoying. Rather, they'd be amused at how similar and different he is from Bakugou. Probably want to hear all about how they met and other annoying shit.

Trusting Manjoume's Duel Spirits to keep him alert of any danger is not what Bakugou would want to rely on. That said, he's also not going to live in fear of his boyfriend's safety. It's not like there aren't other unscrupulous people that want to make trouble for famous and powerful Duelists. Look at Kaiba and Atlas.]

No one, but I'm acknowledging it on your behalf anyway so you don't have to.

[Besides, he's pretty sure Bakugou wouldn't have said anything at all if there wasn't at least a smidgen of him that held any concern for the other, he thinks.]

[Really tempting to "accidentally" flick some hot sauce dip at Manjoume for that backhanded cheek.]

[Boyfriend talk. Manjoume wasn't wrong. There was some brow-furrowing thought about their respective friends finding out about their relationship. He doesn't think any of them would view it negatively though. It's actually that part that irritates him the most... So damn nosy.]

[Sorry boyfie, he's got you pegged on that one, and thus can't help but smirk slightly at the other's response at proving him right in some regard.]

[That smirk is looking to earn itself a hot-sauce dunked rice cake piece straight into it. But Manjoume's not a big mouth in casual conversation, so he'll have to wait for a better opportunity once he gets more vocal...

Or do that. Bakugou arches a brow, then pops a shrimp from the grill and abruptly shoves it towards Manjoume's mouth.]

[Thankfully, Manjoume doesn't spit it out, or choke on the shrimp suddenly getting shoved at his mouth. He does however startle a little, before teeth nips at Bakugou's fingertips as the decision he ends up making involves biting that shrimp and he leans back away to eat it. Once he's chewed and swallowed--]

Sorry, but you'll have to try harder than that.

[However, he does have a blush threatening to creep back up his face, a sign that he was in fact flustered by that sudden action.]

[Cheeky bastard biting at his fingers. Should've used his chopsticks. But then he wouldn't have gotten nipped and he's not sure if that's a pro or a con right now. At least seeing Manjoume get a little pink on his cheeks says that was the right petty decision.]

Tch. You just swallowed it. So I win. [As far as the "stuff a shrimp in your mouth" command went. He just was the one to do the stuffing. Fair's fair. And Bakugou's more than aware he could make this extremely embarrassing, in a sexy kind of way, but they're in public and yeah. Doesn't want that attention drawn to them.]

[No maybe. He's going to save them. Despite liking to tease Manjoume, there are plenty of times Bakugou doesn't bother with that crap. He has other things he's focusing on.]

You're not stealing shit. I'm letting you have whatever you want.

and then, in a total show of maturity, Manjoume proceeds to use his chopsticks to take another piece of Bakugou's food off the grill right in front of him and proceeds to eat it

he will eat that, so there!!]

[There's a lemon over there if you want more reason to squint, babe.

he immediately goes to stab his chopsticks towards the grill, trying to block Manjoume from yoinking the piece. But the guy was faster and he glares across the table when he successfully pops the thieved piece into his mouth.

OH YEAH?! Well he's going for one of your shrimp then!]

[thundercrashes]

[Manjoume proceeds to attempt the exact same thing Bakugou just did in the form of using his chopsticks to block the other from stealing his shrimp, but alas, Bakugou manages to be faster than him this time.]

Oh, it's on now.

[Cue him once again going for an attempt at stealing a piece of Bakugou's food in retaliation, because this is apparently the kind of maturity he's devolved into now instead of going back to eating his own food here.]

[Hah! Too fast for you this time, huh Manjoume? Though Bakugou gets the same idea the other boy does the moment it comes into his head. This is a battle and now he's ready for it. As soon as Manjoume makes to stab for the food, Bakugou intercepts with a quick block of his chopsticks.]

Get ready to lose, bitch. [And they can have a jousting swordfight with chopsticks over a burning grill with sizzling food like a pair of well-adjusted mature teenagers.]

[thundercrashes]

[Sure enough, Manjoume meets the challenge head on, jousting with his chopsticks this way and that to try to either steal pieces of Bakugou's food, or get the other boy to potentially lose his hold on his chopsticks and drop them as another means of winning here over this incredibly mature game they're having here.

Even if doing this right over a burning grill is perhaps not the smartest thing to do, but thankfully it seems that Manjoume has some sense to not burn himself, even when, after a whole two minutes of this, an audacious move he makes trying to slip past his boyfriend's chopsticks accidentally causes him to lose his grip on his own, dropping one of them that bounces off the grill and rolls away off the table with a clatter.

There's a long pause, before Manjoume huffs and sets aside the one remaining his chopstick he had in favor of obtaining a new pair as he grumbles.]

Damnit. Guess you win this one.

[Ha! If he thinks he's going to get Bakugou to drop his sticks, Manjoume's got another thing coming! The blonde's not so clumsy as to allow that blunder, and he'll even catch a stick in his other hand to go two-pronged poking at his opponent to keep himself in the game. Sometimes it's not even about the food, but just making sure Manjoume gets zilch.

Though the end comes not from the procuring of food, but from Manjoume losing one of his sticks. Bakugou glances over the side of the table, watching it go rolling off to the side. No real coming back from that one... At least the waitress isn't long to bring Manjoume a new pair. Apparently people drop chopsticks plenty of times in this place.]

Bastard. We're having a rematch later. [While it's not a disappointment like his match with Todoroki during the Sports Festival, winning due to a fluke like this never entirely satisfies him.] That natural or did you have some kind of blade training in the past?

[thundercrashes]

Nah, nothing like that. Just experience 'cause I fight a lot with Juudai sometimes at our dorm whenever he tries to steal my own shrimp...

[There's a pause, before Manjoume suddenly frowns, and with his new pair of chopsticks jabs at a piece of his own shrimp here to snatch and eat.]

Well, used to fight with over shrimp, anyway.

[In the before times, before the alternate dimension and Juudai having changed a lot more than the rest of them had actually wanted him to...]

[There have been some instances of the extras that hang around Bakugou trying to steal his food, but it was early on in the first year and now they're smart enough to avoid that. Unless they want to get their faces blown up. Not to mention risking the heat level of his food... It's not 100% guaranteed, but enough to be a deterrent.]

He's still planning to wander? [Though he doesn't know the details, Bakugou knows some of what happened to Juudai and the duelist's changed attitude. Going through something like that will change a person.]
