He kinda had a few things in mind, but they were just things he planned to either get or ask Katsuki if they could get. Suddenly he's nervous again so he probably thinks whatever it is happens to be illegal. ]

I...um, I kind of maybe think having a cat would be cool...one that likes to cuddle.

[ It's not that ominous. He just wants something else besides Katsuki to cuddle with.

He's just not sure Katsuki will go for it. They do already have fish that Izuku spends too much time with.

Might offset some of his clinginess though? ]

[Not that he doesn't "like" cats or something, but a pet in the house is asking for another layer of shit to deal with. Semi-literally if Izuku minds the litter box. Plus they have fish, but the tank lid isn't coming off, so it's not a big deal.

You can't decide if a cat's going to cuddle.

No. And I know - I wasn't thinking of a kitten or anything. Can't you meet and adopt older cats? I know there's cat cafes where you can interact with them and see if they like you too. Just wanting to be petted sometimes would be enough.

[ Dogs are more reliable there but... ]

I don't think it'd be a Christmas thing or even for a few months or anything, but I just sort of would like a pet with fur. A hamster would be okay too.

[ He doesn't expect Katsuki to do any animal care though. They do both handle the fish tank, but that's a joint thing.

[Like they did with the plot of land for their house. Wasn't like the fair was out there giving cats to people who hit the target in the middle. Katsuki doesn't know enough about cats to know if a kitten or a grown cat is the better choice.

Especially since the main allure here is for Izuku to have something to cuddle with. Pretty sure an adult cat won't draw to someone like that so easily...

[ Depends on the adult cat, but yes, he was figuring a kitten might be too much for Katsuki. A dog is even more effort and he'd worry about it if they ever got stuck in an event for a few days, while the cat would probably just be ruffled... ]

[Katsuki knows how to leave the house if something's pissing him off too much. But he's not such a monster he'd attack a kitten. Probably just pick it up in exasperation and drop it on Izuku's head so it'd stop bugging him.

Looks like the horn brings the animal, the stone brings something from our world, and the rift transistor brings in media, like radio stations, music, and tv shows.
