[ He's a mess. Bruises, pants, the way he's staring up at Katsuki blearily.

[He looks good as a mess. That'll never change. Katsuki traces over his face with his eyes, taking in the afterglow flush and labored breathing.]

I was focusing on you.

[He drops his arms and heads away from the couch.]

Gonna go get a shower.

[May or may not be an invite, but you know, he HAD been trying to read.]

[ He's got his voice back but is unsure about walking just this second. Let him get less shaky. ]

Shower.

[Totally heading off and leaving Izuku on the couch to collect himself. You're the one who asked him to fuck your gem until you couldn't anymore.

Not sorry Izuku can't get up now.]

[ ...ah.

Yeah, he isn't really dating someone who's into aftercare or anything of the sort; it's something Izuku needs to handle himself, which he's had plenty of practice at over the years in entirely different situations. Mentally he makes a note not to ask for anything more intense than this upper limit for the time being as he scrubs at his mouth, fingers drifting down to prod the bruise tentatively. Maybe eventually it will appeal to a different kind of masochism, though...he can teach himself to get off to anything, he's sure.

He doesn't call Katsuki back again out of respect for the other boy's preference, but handles cleanup himself a while later when he feels up to moving before going back to his own room. ]

[He's not cleaning up your fucking mess... especially not when Izuku came in his sweats. Sometimes he'll linger for afterglow and occasionally roll his eyes at the other boy's penchant for pillow talk or cuddling, but normally Katsuki's either going to wash off or clean up after sex. Unless another round is eminent or he's so exhausted he falls asleep in the mess.

Part of this absconding is due to not wanting Izuku to get the idea of returning the favor. Katsuki isn't ready for him to lamprey onto his arm and blow the ruby until he passes out. Hey! He got you off, Deku! That's what you fucking asked! You don't get off a second time to afterglow/care... Weirdo.

Though when he goes to his room, he'll find Katsuki, still dry, waiting for him at the foot of the stairs to the third floor, a towel around his waist and arms crossed.]

Took you long enough...

Ah...sorry? [ He's...puzzled, and a little bit put off, mixed with not wanting to upset Katsuki. He managed to snag some clean laundry to shift into downstairs, and grabbed his basket to truck upstairs, planning to put it away probably tomorrow. ]

You can go get in. I'm fine?

You're covered in sweat.

[And come. But he put clean clothes on over that? Gross.]

You told me to wait.

[So he waited. And waited. And now Izuku's here in this state. So who's the one being confusing?]

[ He wiped himself off for the come at least. ]

I...did, but that's not really what I meant? I just still feel a bit out of it, so...I'm just going to my room if that's ok.

[ He'll just feel even more antsy if he joins in. Might draw himself a bath in his own bathroom though. ]

[Katsuki narrows his eyes and then moves forward to touch his hand to Izuku's forehead. Just... wants to check. They've never done that with the gems before, since mostly they're not addressed during sex for this exactly reason.

So now he's a little curious and wary.]

What's your vision like? How do you feel?

[Izuku said "out of it" but he wants to know what he means. He's a flavor of concerned at the moment and it shows in his eyes.]

[ He's warmer than usual, but that's not really unusual after activity. Izuku does lean back a hair though. ]

My vision's okay. Just...I'm okay.

[ He's unsure how to describe residual overstimulation. ]

[Katsuki doesn't push the hand thing, but he doesn't leave him alone either. Eyes drop to the gem on his chest and then back up to Izuku's eyes.]

I'll go with you.

[Even if he's just sitting on the toilet watching Izuku get a bath.]

I-I mean...it's nothing to worry about. Or - ah, I guess you still haven't...?

[ He shifts in place, mostly to readjust the laundry basket. ]

[Katsuki adjusts the tie in his towel to secure it, then heads past Izuku into his room.]

I don't have to get in with you.

[Just doesn't want him to get a bath, get all hot and woozy, and end up drowning in the fucking tub.]

Wha - ah, no, but you wanted to get clean...?

[ He trails after, setting the basket down and looking a little longingly at his bed. ]

I'll get clean after you.

[Katsuki glances at the bed, but then heads for the bathroom anyways. Izuku's free to make his wash as fast as he likes.]

No, you should get clean too then...I already made you wait.

[ Though he's a little awkward about following, he does, offering up no further protest here. ]

[Well, if he's going to be magnanimous about it, Katsuki simply reaches over to twist the knob and start filling the bath with hot water.]

We'll get one together then.

[He wants to keep an eye on Izuku right now, so what's the difference if he does it sitting on the pot or sitting in the bath with him?]

[ He's trying to catch up to Katsuki abruptly swinging back into aftercare mode, trailing after and forgetting to like strip... ]

[Just cause he wasn't going to help him off the couch didn't mean he was abandoning him completely. Katsuki tosses the towel to the side and tests the water temperature.]

We'll stick to overstimulating your gem for evenings.

[ Izuku absolutely took it as abandonment since he more wanted Katsuki to pause, but he probably could have gotten that if he had said why. ]

[If it's any help, there's always a good chance Katsuki's the one to get up and leave after sex, not a fan of sleeping in the sweaty/spunky mess. He'd rather clean up and at least strip the sheet before falling asleep.

But Izuku's love for afterglow cuddles and pillow talk means he's more and more cajoled to deal with it and stay.]

Especially if it puts you in this state. Felt good though, huh.

[Go figure. Katsuki's plowing forward on this route at least and leans back once the bath water is hot enough and going strong. Izuku's not going to drown here on his watch.]

Sounded and looked like it was more than "okay".

It felt good, I just...might not want to do it often.

[ Izuku corrects himself, finally going to tug off his shirt. ]
