[ 911 call seems to be from one of the female students...it's dramatically cut off, but should have an Integral Clue to the murder location, while Izuku is rechecking shelves in the other room. ]

[Bingo. Katsuki replays the call, listening for background noises and the girl's verbal hints about the location, anywhere from blatantly stating it to describing things.]

[ Back with a few files in his hands...but he comes over to Katsuki's side. ]

Listen to this. It's from one of the students, calling 911. She talks about where they are.

[Katsuki plays the recording for him.]

[He pushes two of the chairs aside to make room for them to arrange all their clues and notes to go along with Izuku's pictures.]

[ Izuku does so immediately, spreading them out along with their other clues. The new pictures are snapshots of the party, as if from a security camera. ]

[Which might give the "ghost" angle if they can see and hear tings, as well as record incriminating or embarrassing things for blackmail later.]

I guess that makes sense. The decor is pretty upscale...

[ Izuku's scanning the pictures. Ah... ]

Based on the layout, they had to have been coming either here or the foyer.

And no one died in the first two rooms... This one's the largest, with the most place to move around and hide the kill... though doing it in the smaller room would be smart too.

I think it's the larger room. It would've been in disarray if people ran here after a murder in the third room.

[Katsuki pushes himself up.]

Let's go. You already checked all the chairs and the seats. I did the shelves and the items. Asides from the walls and floor, think we missed anything else?

There was that big rug...we didn't check under it.

[Why the hell did he miss that?! Katsuki heads back into the room and clears the chairs and whatever else is on the rug.]

I didn't notice until you said "floor".

[ Izuku grips the other end, though, and helps peel it back. ]

[Izuku can peel; Katsuki's doing the grab and yank/haul to drag the rug away from the floor below. Anything from a trap door to a fucking body could be under there (don't ask how a body is under a flat rug). Maybe even a key or paper.]

[ Pick: fake blood stains or a trap door. Because if it's a trap door...the crime scene can be down there, complete with fake crime scene clues? ]

[Fucking trap door, fucker! Katsuki goes from a split second surprise to rolling his eyes at the cliche (and irritation it took them this long to find the damn thing) and finally to an eager grin as he quickly starts checking for a way to get the trap door open.]

[ Looks like a simple lock. Combination again...Izuku shuffles through their files, huming. ]

[Katsuki glares at the lock. If he could just blast the fucking thing open...]

[He's NOT blowing anything up, dammit! But he is doing the combination when Izuku reads it out, keeping his ear close like he can hear it. (He can't hear shit useful, but it keeps the theme going.)]

[ Honestly, Izuku appreciates the roleplay. Once they're in...it looks more like a (fake) murder scene down there for sure! ]
