Date: 6/9/25 01:18 (UTC)"Doesn't change anything." Whether it was dodged, knowing or not, assault was still assault. Kise trying to pass it off as nothing is fucking concerning. Bakugo's willing to let it drop, but doesn't want to return to it.
"Can you channel multiple at once or only one at a time?"
no subject
Date: 6/9/25 15:06 (UTC)"But combining things I've copied is harder, it requires that I think. And I can only copy things my body is capable of doing. I can't do splits, but I can do back flips and stuff on the rings, but my body is built different from a gymnast's, so even then, while I can do things, it might hurt. Which is too bad because autofellatio looks fun."
He gives his head a shake, he's getting off track. "So I could combine some of stuff athletes below my skill level can do to make new moves, but not above, does that make sense?"
no subject
Date: 6/9/25 20:34 (UTC)"Copying an artist would be the same thing as copying a musician. All you have are the motions; you can't read music anymore than you can use artist technique." Even if Kise could copy the finger motions of a trumpet, he'd have to do so in the precise order the instrument player did them... and if he could, nothing's stopping him from doing the same of a painter. Despite Bakugo's clipped grump, he's actively interested in the Quirk discussion.
"Haa? You can't do a split?" That's a fucking surprise. He had Kise's knees all the way back to his fucking ears! He could've come on his own face from that position. Even if sucking himself off is... difficult either way. Really kills the lower back muscles.
"If you practice what you copy until it becomes yours, then you can combine it with something else you've made your own."
no subject
Date: 6/10/25 07:19 (UTC)Kise smiled sheepishly, thinking of the night they met and fucked for hours and hours. "No, my muscles are built that way. I'm pretty bendy, but not that bendy. I guess I should say I can't do a full split."
His attention was caught by the arrival of more guests walking into the ballroom. He didn't recognize them. "Are those hero commission guys?" he asked.
no subject
Date: 6/11/25 00:30 (UTC)"Your muscles are built the same as anyone's. Put in the work and you could do it." Time, effort, pain, but eventually success. Bakugo knows some people are naturally more flexible than others, but unless something's fucked up with the ball joint and pelvis, technically anyone should be able to do a full split with practice.
He glances to the new arrivals. "Two of them." Did Hawks send them? This is an athletic fund raiser party, not a heroic venue. Though a number of Class 1-A are here, which is its own draw.
no subject
Date: 6/11/25 15:00 (UTC)He looked at Bakugou. "That's only true to a point. My muscles are suited for basketball and running fast for short distances," he grabbed some grapes off a tray walking past him.
He popped one into his mouth, chewed and swallowed. "I don't like the look of them," he said. "They're giving me bad vibes." He doesn't have a future seeing quirk, but he's met enough creeps through his modeling career to recognize bad vibes.
no subject
Date: 6/12/25 01:23 (UTC)Similar to Todoroki's Half-Cold, Half-Hot. Bakugo isn't gonna knock what Kise considers "minor" Quirks. Not after what he saw Midoriya do with the toolbox of minor Quirks he had in his own arsenal. Even "weak" Quirks can be honed to something impressive if worked on enough or the wielder finds a niche their Quirk fits perfectly.
"Duh. It's how you've trained them." Not everyone could bulk up to be a massive bodybuilder in size, and not everyone's gonna be flexible enough to bend themself into a pretzel. Doesn't change his mind about the splits, even if he drops the topic in exchange for the next one.
Dynamight glances at the arrivals, then turns his head slightly to speak into his comm device. "Oy, Creati. Get a read on those guys who just came in. Contact Hawks and make sure he sent them." She'll know and get the information.
no subject
Date: 6/12/25 06:58 (UTC)Kise never cared about quirks. Never wanted to be a hero. He became a model because he was pretty and his eldest sister encouraged him.
He stayed in shape to stay pretty, until he started basketball. He had always been naturally athletic, so now he was very much in shape.
Anyway, he really didn't like those guys. He kept his eyes on them as Creati contacted Hawks. He had a bad feeling about this.

Date: 6/14/25 13:16 (UTC)There's a reason the only people who had multiple Quirks were those monstrosities All for One and his shitty doctor genetically engineered out of corpses to get around that issue... Some Quirks have "subset" abilities, or two effects, but even One for All was still "one" Quirk, despite having access to others inside it.
Bakugo could chalk up the athlete's feelings to nerves, but given Kise's friendly nature and confidence, the guy having a bad feeling about someone is noteworthy. He contacts the rest of his classmates and keys them in on what's going on. Just to be prepared.
If Kise is paying attention, he'll notice Bakugo and the other 1-A heroes quietly placing themselves between their charges and the newcomers, no matter where they are in the room.
"Akashi's not expecting anyone from the hero committee. Hawks didn't send them. How'd they get in the door if they weren't invited?" They should've been stopped otherwise... Bakugo didn't think the party was open to all.

Date: 6/17/25 13:31 (UTC)Kise didn't know much about All for One, having spent most of the war hunkered down with Akashi and arguing with/fucking Aomine. And the other Miracles, but mostly Aomine.
(Don't believe Kise's friendly demeanor, he's pretty cold when he wants to be and is only warm to people he likes. He can be polite, but he keeps the distance between him and others until he decides he wants to close that distance. Bakugou skipped that part because he wanted to suck the hero's dick.)
He is paying attention, and is nervous. He's not a hero. He has no illusions about his bravery, or lack their of in scenarios like this. "Yeah," he said sticking close to Bakugou.
And that's when a third person walked in with a grin that was diabolical. "Well, shit."
no subject
Date: 6/18/25 02:24 (UTC)Anyone who doesn't want to know much about All for One was probably saving themselves a headache. They had enough of him during the war; no point in bringing him up for more shadows after everyone got out from under his ominous lure.
(Damn. If only he'd been cold to Bakugo at first. Then he could've slammed the door in his stupid face and neither of them would've found out fucking each other was worth the clashing personalities! What a damn shame.)
"Get behind me." Dynamight moves his arm to the side, quietly putting Kise out of position from the newcomers. By now, the other heroes have been alerted and the third's arrival brings almost everyone's attention to the doorway.
"Oy!" Barking out at the trio. "Invite only! Take your asses back out the way you came, idiots!"
no subject
Date: 6/18/25 14:06 (UTC)(He was already in Bakugou's room when they met! In his underwear! Bakugou's mother put him there!)
"Already am," he said. Didn't need to tell him twice. He wasn't a coward, but he wasn't brave either. If he had to throw a punch he would, but he didn't want to. Aomine could do that for him.
He stays back as instructed. Swallowing nervously as the third guy raises his arms, sending a pulse wave of some sort out, making Kise feel a bit weak in the knees.
no subject
Date: 6/20/25 02:46 (UTC)Kise wasn't a battler either. Dynamight expects he could take care of himself in a scrap, but these assholes didn't look like they were coming in for a scrap. If Quirks or weaponry came to bear, Kise wasn't going to be standing up to them.
Shit. They're already on the move. Nausea? Vertigo? Fuck it, Dynamight already moves. An explosion snipes him straight towards the group, even as others in his class move into action. From Cellophane's shots of tape to Shoto's ice and Ingenium's abrupt blitz alongside the explosive hero.
Get in, beat the shit out of them, and leave the trio down. That's the plan at least...
no subject
Date: 6/22/25 20:10 (UTC)Nope, these guys look like they wanted to rob every one of their jewelry and maybe take a hostage or two.
The leader just smirks at Bakugou, bringing his hands together in a clap like thunder, sending another, stronger shockwave through the room that had Kise raising his hand to his mouth to make sure he didn't puke.
One of the other villains turned into water, rushing forward, absorbing Shoto's ice with ease.
That wasn't good.
no subject
Date: 6/23/25 02:33 (UTC)Ugh. Just a bunch of boring fucking thieves. Dynamight notes the hands coming together and instantly slams his own in front of himself. KA-BOOM! An explosion punches against the shockwave, cancelling it out in a small circle ahead of him and letting the hero pass behind his own burst without taking any recoil.
"You're not the only one who can make shockwaves, you shitty clapper!"
How the hell was he absorbing that ice without turning into a frozen patch of water himself?! He lets Shoto and Red Riot figure that out as he clashes with the clapper villain.
Deku and Creati take on the last one, while Uravity and Ingenium handle protecting the guests.

Date: 6/26/25 09:06 (UTC)Murasakibara, predictably, eyes the situation as he puts another Swedish meatball in his mouth. Momoi looks frightened and holds onto Kuroko, who looks blank as ever. Midorima is muttering something, and Kagami looks confused as hell. At least he's not the only one wigged out by this.
It's clear the goon who can absorb Ice without freezing is the biggest threat, as it looks like Bakugou has the head guy under-control.
Then the last villain stomps his foot, causing a small tremor in the floor.
no subject
Date: 6/27/25 06:41 (UTC)Why the hell did these assholes think this a good place to thieve? With so much press and attention around the Miracles after an exhibition game, assaulting the venue is asking for a run in with security guards, police, and heroes! He'll have these bastards answering questions from a fucking crater in the wall!
With ice not working, Shoto's flames come out, hoping to evaporate and thus weaken the water-user, as well as remove his ability to absorb more ice.
Deku's already had experience with Gran and his vibrations. One Full Cowling leads to his own stomp, sending vibrations towards the tremor to try and cancel it out. Creati's already preparing to launch a pod of sleeping gas at the villain.
no subject
Date: 6/27/25 10:03 (UTC)Still the water-body guy is the biggest threat, with the other two having counters, shockwaves canceling out shockwaves. But waterbody guy extinguishes the flames shot out at him. He does get a bit smaller with every fire blast, so it is evaporating some of his body, but not fast enough.
Kise steals one of Murasakibara's meatballs and shoves in his mouth. Now that the initial fear is out of the way, and it's clear only one out of the three villains is a real threat, he feels much better.
no subject
Date: 6/29/25 01:32 (UTC)Without missing a beat, he rebounds off his own explosion, bounces over Red Riot, and crashes two more detonations into the water villain's flowing body. Scalding heat and force blow not just holes, but separates his continuous flow into three distinct parts. Shoto sets about scorching one, Creati throws a fast-acting freezing agent into another, and Red Riot slams a tray into the third trying to dissipate the guy's consciousness into one smaller chunk.
Deku ties the shockwave villain and the second one together with Blackwhip, good and tight, just in time for the police to arrive on the scene.
no subject
Date: 6/30/25 10:28 (UTC)Once the water body is separated, the bottom and top parts fall to the floor with a splash, the top being evaporated by Shoto, Red Riot's smacking with a tray not doing much but getting water all over the place. It's the freezing agent that gets the middle part, the core where the thief's mind is. It pops like a balloon, water spraying everywhere, as the thief flips the fuck out about the freezing agent, before crashing onto the floor.
And it's over, with the third villain screaming, one leg frozen up the knee. The other two tied up. It hadn't lasted long, but it was long enough.
And now everyone was wet, and some of the Miracles (Aomine and Midorima) were getting grouchy because of it. Momoi was looking sadly down at her dress, wondering if it was ruined. Kagami and Murasakibara were still eating. Most of the food survived, thankfully, because Akashi was able to calm Aomine down from throwing a minor tantrum by shoving him at the table.
Kise let out a breath, leaned against a wall and downed a water in a few gulps.

Date: 7/1/25 03:41 (UTC)Ingenium congratulated Creati for her quick thinking and freezing agent, while Shoto was doubting himself since his ice didn't do anything in comparison. Midoriya's trying to console and encourage him; there's a difference between ice and liquid nitrogen after all. Cue Dynamight yelling at the screaming villain to shut the fuck up before he blasts his mouth off his stupid face! If he didn't wanna get frozen, he shouldn't have been a stupid villain!
With the police handling everything, the others returned to the public, questioning people if they were okay. Momo starts tending to Momoi's dress with a drying device, assuring her the fabric isn't ruined. Some gentle heat and attention will have it fresh and new soon enough. Todoroki's helping dry other places around the room, melting his own ice in the process.
Bakugo stops beside Kise. "What the hell's here to attract some shitty villains?"
no subject
Date: 7/1/25 13:49 (UTC)Does Kise look like he knows? Since the villains opened with an attack, it's possible they just wanted to cause trouble. He looked around at the other Miracles. They're all attractive. Maybe sex trade? Who the fuck knows. Whatever it is, it's done.
"I'm done. I don't think anyone will mind if we leave now." Kise's feeling a bit cranky now. He wants out of his wet suit. He wants dry underwear and socks. And he wants a burger. Something nice and fatty. "Let's go back to the locker room. I want to change."
no subject
Date: 7/2/25 02:24 (UTC)"Fine. I'll stay with you for the rest of the night." Just because it doesn't look like the villains weren't working for someone doesn't mean they aren't. He'll shadow Kise for a different reason now. Bakugo takes a minute to tell the others he's leaving and adds a record to the police for Kise's whereabouts, then rejoins the blonde.
no subject
Date: 7/2/25 07:09 (UTC)"That works. Do you have extra clothes? I'm changing into normal street wear." He rolled his neck and started moving towards the door, waving to his friends to show he was leaving. Murasakibara kept on eating, while the others either nodded or waved back.
Once outside he shivered. "Fucking jerks," he muttered. "Ruined a perfectly good night."
no subject
Date: 7/3/25 20:10 (UTC)"Yeah." He didn't show up in his costume after all. Bakugo brings a spare set when he goes to a mission just in case. Good to be prepared like that. With the other heroes at least alerted to where he was going, it's easier to leave, though he has his phone left on in case they need to call him for any police-related business.
"You could've stayed after you dried off." Though there's gonna be a lot of clean up before everything can resume normally. Kise isn't entirely wrong...
