He's smart enough to pick up on the fact that game length and number of players can change how this goes completely, too.

Not having to explain everything in detail helps as he lays out the cards and shows which hand beats what, while giving a more simplified ruling for bluffs, holds, and folds. Enough for Esikko to get the main grasp of the game.

Nothing "fun" people find playing together. He slots a card from his hand and lays down two of a kind on the table between them, starting small for the hand. If Esikko wants to take any of those as a tell, he's welcome to gamble, but who knows if Bakugo's aware the prince is trying to scrutinize him. Could be baiting the very thing.]

[Having some familiarity is better than starting out completely cold. The resort already makes them acknowledge hands with their rewards and crap. Esikko's smart. Bakugo won't feel bad stomping his ass. There's no joy in taking out a complete ignorant.
Of course he's watching Esikko! From the peripheral of his vision over his fan of cards, keeping both in his sight. Noting the slender line of his brows and whether they furrow in frustration or arch in delight. His pretty eyes focusing on the cards, noting whether they flick to one side of his card fan in expectation of trumping the set on the table. Little tells which indicate the man's able to beat his current hand or if he'll fold... Does he expect Esikko to try bluffing? Somewhat. But the guy wears some emotions on his sleeve.
There goes his frown. Cute.]
