i dunno. but if not him at least left and right will tag along with me. it'll be fine though. you might not even be able to sense them.

good. they kinda come everywhere with me now. which is probably a good thing in having that back up.

not sure if my ears are sensitive but i guess that can't hurt. sure.

i don't know i would call them pets. but yeah, they follow orders when given some. so far.

alright. i dunno how far you are compared to us but i'l let you know once i check with dera.

[Which he does, later that evening. Arranging to meet at a nearby convenience store as an easy enough landmark to go off of. He's sure from there the other might know somewhere to go for this practice, hopefully. Yuru waits, leaning against the wall and chatting to Left and Right in between mouthfuls of a snack while waiting for the other to arrive.]

Just tell me where and I'll handle the rest.

[As long as he can get Yuru to locate and give him the street name or another more unique landmark, Bakugou can get the address of the convenience store and plan accordingly. Means he might be late since he had to take the train and it wasn't the most advanced notice. But luckily he can get other things arranged while he's traveling.

It'll be about ten minutes after the meeting time, and a text telling he'll be late due to the above, before Bakugou approaches the guy outside the store. He sees him talking to... uh... yeah. Close enough to figure that's Yuru.]

You look like you're insane or on a Blutooth.

What's a bluetooth?

[Why would someone's tooth be blue? Something they ate? He isn't sure on that, with the bluetooth, still figuring out technology since there wasn't really much of that sort of thing back in the village. Yuru glances when he sees someone approaching, assuming it is Bakugou that had arranged to meet him here. Left and Right glance over, eyeing the other blond and standing a little closer to Yuru.]

Like your phone, but attached to your ear and smaller.

[He's going to have to relate a number of things to that phone and contrast it with more feudal tools to make the connection for Yuru. This guy must've been completely floored when he got a phone and learned of just the tip of what it could do. Bakugou's hands stay in his pockets as he approaches the other guy, not wanting to send his two guard spirits into aggression mode if they happen to have issue with new people approaching. That'd be a pain in the ass.]

Oh? So bluetooth also lets you talk to people not with you right here?

[Honestly the phone is some magic device or something as far as Yuru is concerned. Instant portraits. Talking to people far away and hearing their voice. It is quicker than smoke signals at least. Even if that was what he was raised to do in communicating over a distance. He doesn't figure that this is such a thing but a lot of stuff is making it kind of easy to impress him given what he has been raised being aware of. Left and Right stick close to Yuru but don't otherwise do anything as Bakugou approaches. The other blond hasn't shown any aggression towards Yuru and seems to want to help their Master, so. It's fine for now.]

It's just. So many things are so amazing down the mountain.

Yeah. You just don't see it as easily as the phone.

[Giving the illusion you're talking to yourself if people can't see the ear the bluetooth is on. A lot of people have linked technology with magic, as many magical spells and abilities were once dreams that translated into goals that ultimately fed into the development of different devices and talents. Though there's definitely some lingering elements of people thinking the old ways shouldn't be forgotten, in case the all important electricity goes out...

Bakugou eyes the two creatures on either side of Yuru, wondering just how many people could see them. It's not like Bakugou's ever considered himself "spiritually aware" or much less cared about things of the sort. He only goes to temples to do the new year's thing because it's traditional. Doesn't believe much in the idea of a temple spirit granting him luck on the battlefield. Still... look at what he's seeing right now.

Kind of hard to deny something staring him in the face.]

No shit. Your village is probably 250 years "behind" the modern world.

[Yuru doesn't even really realize. Of course it is obvious things down below the mountain had progressed beyond what he was used to. He simply follows along with Bakugou, oblivious to how the other is noting Left and Right. He's more used to the situation by now. So it is easier for him to simply roll with it. But then of course it might be a little different for him, he's far more used to the village and that sort of upbringing and mindset in comparison to what Bakugou had experienced.]

[Most people don't realize the passage of time if they're the ones inside the passing. Bakugou tilts his head in gesture to get them moving, leaving the previous building behind. It's about a half an hour's walk to reach the nearby firing range. He'd already checked out the location Yuru wanted to meet at and anything nearby. Definitely not a large one, but it'd serve well enough for a first timer.]

So only a few people can see those beasts, right? Not just any random guy.

[That's what Yuru said before, but actually seeing them makes it... harder to believe others can't.]

Yeah. Most wouldn't be able to. I guess I can because I was raised in the village? With them watching out for me the whole time. I just didn't realize until more recently when they kinda...woke up I guess? When we were fleeing. They were statues, before.

[But even in that form they had been watching, listening to keep an eye on things. On him over the years. Yuru is still taking time to try and adjust to things down the mountain, to learn about what people were used to and the laws and rules which were different to some extent to what he might have been used to up till now. Left places a hand at his shoulder when he talks about when they had had to run as the village was attacked. When he had first encountered the real Asa after so long without even realizing what exactly was going on.]

Why? Can you see Left and Right?

Right. You said you brought them to life.

[Or they just came to life. Either way, to have the statues guarding your village suddenly becoming living creatures intent on protecting you would be a shock to anyone not familiar with that kind of thing.

The question earns a brief glance to the side, as if he's warring with himself. No and avoid all this mystical realm stuff. Yes and get himself involved with potentially weird ass shit. Not like he isn't already helping a guy on the run learn how to handle firearms...]

So you can see them? Dera said most people wouldn't be able to.

[So Yuru does seem surprised, if relieved that it might not be as awkward if Bakugou could actually see the other two Guardians with him. He shifts, raising a hand to Left's for a brief moment as he follows Bakugou to the firing range to learn to practice. Just because the other is helping him learn to shoot, can see Left and Right, that doesn't mean Yuru expects Bakugou to get involved in everything going on with him. With his being on the run. With Asa and their parents.]

You know this doesn't mean that you have to get involved with me and everything.

No one in that store looked at you weird?

[Bakugou isn't sure what to think about that himself. What, he can see spirits now? That's a fucking layer he doesn't need in his life. As for getting involved, well... Bakugou wouldn't be here if he wasn't involved. He doesn't know what to make of Yuru's situation, but now that he knows about it, the young hero can't exactly ignore it. Especially if this guy doesn't have anyone he can rely on...]

Urusei. If you can't rely on anyone else, you can at least rely on a hero.

[Even if it takes a while to prove to Yuru that he's trustworthy.]

[But then again. It's Yuru. He probably unintentionally still does some things that might attract attention regardless of people being able to see Right and Left. At the least, he looks like a regular teenager since Dera and the others had figured taking him shopping so he could at least blend in more in appearance while he learns the rules and laws outside of the mountain.]

Haa? Well. I'm not about to say no. I'm just mindful of getting too many people involved. I wouldn't want anything to happen because you're helping me out is all.

[He'll have to take Yuru's word for it. It's not like the police were pulling up as they were leaving either, and so far no one's come after them as they travel. Nothing to be done about him acting weird. Some people are old fashioned and that's likely all that Yuru's going to get thrown his way if he does anything that out of the ordinary. Or just be called "weird" or "mental" before other people carry out their day.

And he intends on giving this guy shooting lessons... Wow.]

I'm not saying you can't handle it. Just. That you should be aware is all.

[Yuru figures if the other's choice is to help and he can clearly defend himself if he has to, then that's on him? He just can't help still feeling bad about the village and all. The people he had gotten attached to over the years of growing up among them even if he knows they lied to him all this time. There's a lot he is oblivious about and still learning, but he is trying to blend in, even if some things are taking time or things he is still ignorant about. So of course it might seem strange, he might seem odd to others that don't realize his situation.]
