It's harder to instruct Yuru on sighting, how to look "down the barrel" rather than at a certain point on the bow or at the tip of the arrow shaft.
Still, once he's got it, that's when Bakugou finally tells him to pull the trigger. It's empty at the moment (and not exactly "good" for the gun to be fired empty) but he wants Yuru to feel the kind of recoil it's going to give.
[Yuru has some basic sense at least with having used longer range weapons before with the bow, and having seen Dera use a gun before. But doing it himself is still something else that will take some figuring, some adjusting, Least of all with the noise. The recoil. That isn't so much a thing he has to deal with when firing the arrows off from his bow. But he does his best in aiming towards the target, squeezing the trigger when Bakugou thinks he is ready. The recoil does mean he might be slightly more off than he intended, as it does mean the gun raises slightly and does shift a little in his hands as a result.]

He shifts, taking a breath and aiming again, ensuring the ear protection is on properly, his stance seems to be alright, his aim seems lined up as best he can figure before he squeezes the trigger again to aim at the target.]
[He's not going to teach Yuru how to take a gun apart and inspect/clean it because 1) Yuru doesn't have one, and 2) Bakugou doesn't know how to do that shit either. He doesn't use guns that much, even if he knows how to fire them. Taking a few steps to distance himself from Yuru, he watches the guy take aim and sight the target down the lane. He did well loading the gun as Bakugou showed him, further suggesting the villager's keen insight and quick pick up on lessons. He's going to learn how to be in the modern world well enough...

That said, Bakugou's glancing to the two spirits that have been shadowing Yuru this entire time. Most dogs that aren't police dogs don't exactly like gunshots... Wonder if it's the same for spirits.]

Bakugou has yet to give them reason to be wary of him so it seems safe enough for now. Left even gives a little smile to Yuru when he turns and asks if they saw that.]

Yeah. I've had scratches against my cheek a few times from it, mostly when I was first learning. I know this thing is different but. Some aspects are similar.

Archery competitions and archery clubs at school are relatively popular in their niche, shrines often encourage archers over gunmen, and some people simply prefer bows when hunting to avoid the noise alerting other quarry. That said... the idea of archery remains admirable and most people are going to be more impressed with a stoic archer landing a bullseye than someone whipping out a gun and taking a shot.
He conveys all that to Yuru in a more succinct manner, not wanting to quash the guy's skill and interest, but rather placing it in the frame of the modern viewpoint. Some heroes utilize bows over guns, either for comfort or better use with their Quirks, but that's a topic for another day.

He tries to help as best he can in figuring getting everything together to finish up. But he might leave some of it to Bakugou who is obviously more familiar with this sort of thing.]

Once the gun and headphones are returned, they just have to check out and leave. Bakugou signs for them both, since he doesn't want Yuru leaving his name anywhere. The guy's being tracked! He's not going to be the one to tell the blonde to leave a trail.]

Date: 3/31/24 03:55 (UTC)[Of course, there wasn't quite the same technology or options available in the village up the mountain so Yuru isn't necessarily aware of some options here. He is trying to learn more. It's just not going to be an overnight thing. He hasn't necessarily considered that in some ways he might be safer in prison, if he were to mess up and get arrested. He just is trying to do his best to keep as safe as he can considering everything.
He doesn't necessarily read into it, with the other signing for them and all. But he lets the other take care of it since he seems to know what the process is and all.]
