He didn't quite expect Bakugo to be the one to make himself said moving target, but it only adds to that growing excitement-- the determination to complete the challenge more than ever. A clash of powers, even if they're not directly fighting, but it still matters. Before, he was always extremely careful about using his full powered optic blasts on others, during training or anything, really, but as he turns his dial on his visor to something far below lethal, he's less concerned about actually hitting his friend.
Sure, there might be some bruises and everything, but that's kind of expected given what they do. It's not using his powers and blasting someone's face or head off. Of course, he's going to be aiming for the targets on his wings rather than anything else. It doesn't count otherwise, he knows.]
I'll get both in that timeframe.
[He says, but there's barely any hesitation before he fires off a quick red blast right at his friend. From there, it'll be an onslaught of shots, Scott barely pausing between each attack-- sometimes firing in spots where he thinks Bakugo will go, trying to predict his path, so that he can hit one of the targets.]
[Why the hell would he stand around and do shit while Scott got all the fun of shooting targets? He regularly sparred with and challenged his classmates during training rather than ducking out alone (even if it was more forcing them to fight for their lives while he tried blowing them up). Two people training together meant both had to work on something mutual. Scott, his aim, Bakugo, his reflexes. Precession versus speed, with reaction and reflex for both.
Arranging the backpack over his shoulders, he stalks into the newly-designed obstacle course, fully intending for Scott to follow him in sooner or later. Hills, ledges, pillars, basic shit this time around. He's never taken a full-powered optic blast from his friend (isn't sure he wants to), but he's been on the receiving end of a few crimson rays. Packs a fucking punch. Not like he's gonna let Scott hit him this time!]
Che! Bring it on, Shades! [*KA-BOOM!* Without warning! Explosions scorch the ground and he rockets to the side, leaving a fading smoke trail before bouncing off another in a jagged zigzag through the air. It'd be pointless to duck behind obstacles and stay there in hiding; Bakugo passes by them merely as ways of interrupting Scott's sight and either emerging out the other side or rebounding off another direction.]
Ngh! [Light snaps past his cheek, he throws his head back and lands on one hand- BOOM!-sends himself vaulting backwards until his feet hit the wall behind him. A crouch, muscles tense, BOOM! Good! Scott's not firing where he was, but rather aiming where he expects he's going to be. Bakugo cusses under his breath as they're forced to try and out-predict the other rather than rely on pure speed.]
