The third item isn't a cheap gag gift. It's a box of seasonings and spices: a nice variety. You said you like to cook for yourself, and I know it can be hard to find spicy food around here that doesn't include "that" kind of spice. So, I got you your own seasoning kit! All these spices should be perfectly safe to sprinkle all over your cooking, he writes. And it's true—he asked one of the royalty cards he knows to verify with the staff that nothing was spiked. Surely the staff wouldn't lie to a royalty card... right?

Bakugo slides his fingers under the seams and tape, popping the wrapping open one quick sweep at a time. The resort encouraged winter traditions like mistletoe and hot chocolate; why the hell should it skip out on Christmas? ... As long as it's not pervert.
Oy. Is this guy trying to mock him? He arches a brow, eyes full of orange cape and mask. Unlike Midoriya, Bakugo's never been fond of wearing capes. Hiyori's little note earns a wry snort, but at least the thought counts? He's not sure what to do with it, but for now the pair's tucked away in his dresser drawer. Could alter them later to suit his style.
Mild needling aside, Bakugo turns the seasoning and spices over in his hands, inspecting each one curiously. Dammit, Parrot, who said you could look out for him like this? He takes Hiyori's word for it and puts them back in the box for moving later. Probably gonna give one a try tonight with a few fish fillets.
Spending the holiday away from home is... frustrating. As much as his classmates irked him with their last Christmas party, they were still there, he was at home. Now it's this gilded prison. At the very least, nothing bad happens for the day, so Hiyori's hope came true.
A few hours after, however, a package is left by Hiyori's door, silent and waiting inside green wrapping (deliberately a certain image color). Bakugo's not about to knock and get swept into whatever holiday festivities the idol's got going on. Did he actually spend time shopping for this guy, enough to get him a few things? ... Yes, but you won't see him admitting to it.
Inside rests a plastic-wrapped salmon quiche, big enough to share, and four apple tarts. Homemade. Internet's a goddamn tattletale. And a small box protecting a strong smart key-ring like item. It's a charm collection ring (but can be used for keys if wanted) with a little silver apple, microphone, and star already added to it. Hiyori's free to find and add more from the different stores around the resort. An excuse to go shopping, right?
