The doctors say Shoto's not bad enough he's gonna go full the crystal stage. But they still want to watch him just in case he takes a turn for the worst. I don't know about Dabi.

[ At least there's a little comfort in feeling like a justified asshole about Dabi. Kirishima usually is very empathetic and tries to see things even from a villain's perspective. He's not even trying now. He's angry; it definitely doesn't help not long ago Bakugou told him Dabi was a major part in his kidnapping.
Part of him understands Dabi has to be important to Shoto... but it's not enough to keep him from feeling riled. He's heard the accusations against Endeavor; it doesn't excuse the bastard from doing what he's done to innocent people or Shoto, then or now. A part of him thinks he should be more understanding but, for once, that is quashed beneath ire. ]
I'm in the room with him... said I was his brother bc ICU doesn't let in anyone but family. [ Yes, he gets the irony. ] Will Synchrony work if he's not awake?

For the same reason, he's not getting involved in the brothers' spat. Because it was gonna happen no matter what. Unless the two of them are chained up forever on opposite sides of the world, they'll find a way to face off. It's gonna happen in their world and it's gonna happen here. Bakugou's not living in some deluded fantasy that kind of clash can be averted by a few "don't be stupid, don't go" words.
Took their whole class just to get Deku back home. You think Todoroki's gonna roll over any easier? Okay, so the real answer to that is "yes" cause Todoroki's not got fucking One for All Swiss Army Knife of Quirks at his beck and call. Sad truth is, they captured Deku because the guy only tried to run away AND because he was on the verge of passing out and running on fumes in the first place. Bakugou's under no delusions they'd have had a hell of a worse time if they were going against a fresh Deku.
That's not here though. What's here is Todoroki on a fucking hospital bed because he had to go be a dumbass and try to handle "family shit" on his own.]

I don't know. Some say yes, some say no. Synchrony can happen in dreams with some events and transformations, but I don't think it's "normal".

He's just stressed because his friend and roommate is lying unconscious in critical care. He's just prodding because he wishes this could have been avoided. The reality is it couldn't have.
The reality is he either wants his friend to wake up or his best friend here with him. This waiting and worrying shit is for the birds. He taps out a message to Shoto's father because it feels right. He pauses on contacting Midoriya because it's a little more difficult to parse things. He can't guarantee Bakugou said something to the guy even if they live together.
Fuck them. I'm coming in anways. Of course Bakugou is. He cares, whether just for him or Todoroki or both of them. Kirishima won't be less than grateful for it and so he won't call it out. He feels a little guilty, calling his best friend to him this early, for being an inconvenience. He wants him nonetheless. ]

[ Kirishima doesn't usually lie, but he stil impossibly thinks he's a far better liar than Bakugou. Sure, the guy can deny feelings all he wants - he's incredibly sincere in other ways. ]

There are some things a person is going to do no matter what anyone says. Bakugou already realized this was something Todoroki intended to do. Trying to prevent him from doing so would've only resulted in a fight and the guy either ending up imprisoned by his own friends or limping off into the distance after leaving his friends in his wake.
That or Dabi showing up on their doorstep burning the apartment complex down wanting to flush out his prey. You know how villains are. Best to let the two go at each other and have it out. Bakugou also can't bring himself to get involved for another reason: that being the very reason he and Izuku ended up under house arrest. Because he, like Shoto and Dabi, had an ISSUE that was going to be resolved, THAT NIGHT, WITH Deku, screw the fucking rules and anyone who tried to get in his way.

Now as far as front doors go, this is why Kirishima's gone downstairs to meet Bakugou. He doesn't want there to be any incidents in the way to Shoto's room and he wants to see Bakugou. It's two birds with one stone. He looks tired, but still happy to see the blonde when he shows, and his clothing looks like he's been through some sort of ash pit at some point. ]

Date: 1/24/22 01:51 (UTC)[Because trying to get Izuku to stop right now won't fly. Sad but true, they were able to stop Deku because there were 19 of them and he was running on fumes already. Just Kirishima. Just Bakugou. Alone, Bakugou's pretty damn sure they wouldn't be able to catch him, much less make him stop.
He does appreciate Kirishima wanting to support him, but Bakugou's bad about accepting support as well. And being concerned about their classmate, his childhood friend, is... a fucking pain in the ass, if he's honest!
Bakugou does get to the hospital and more or less stalks in like a grim-looking man on a mission, full winter costume and gear to boot. Gets a lot of eyes jumping to him. He heads right past the front desk, since he knows where Todoroki's room is, but the only altercation comes when someone tries to stop him. Said something about "only immediate family" and the blonde immediately lashes out at them. Raging about how they don't HAVE any immediate fucking family because they were fucking KIDNAPPED from their world and brought here against their god damn will! So for all you guys care, HE IS Todoroki's immediate family cause he's from the same god damn world as him and the staff has one of two options: either get out of his fucking way or be FORCED out of his way.
That's how he meets Kirishima at least, storming past the staff and suddenly coming face to face with his friend. So no incidents but there was a loud argument? Par for the course at least. Bakugou looks... worn, tense, angry, and focused. Kirishima looks... dusty?]

[ Seems like he got here too late to stop a confrontation, but since it doesn't look like anyone is chasing after Bakugou, he's gonna leave it. He can apologize on his behalf later if any of the nurses show up with a stink eye... or security.
For now, he's going to lead Katsuki to Todoroki's room. The fact that Kirishima smells like char and the fact that Dabi was involved might have prepared Bakugou to see at least half of their classmate is under bandages. The redhead steps to the side of the door, crossing his arms before him in such a way he's holding either elbow. ]
Pretty sure he's out of the woods, but...
[ There are plenty of issues here, namely the fact it happened and may well happen again, assuming Dabi survived too. ]

Following after Kirishima, he focuses on the person at hand, wanting to see Shoto for himself and take in the damage. Knew he was going out to confront his brother, but... that's all.
The damage isn't unexpected and his eyes narrow on the other hero laid up upon the bed. Bandaged all over, half of him looking like a fucking mummy. Bakugou moves over to him, looking down at his face. Tsk, asshole. The hell did he want to do? Didn't he fucking know this wouldn't solve anything? Yeah, the whole "I have to try" shit is ideal and hopeful, but come on.]
He'll recover. The medics here don't suck.
[Dabi survived; Bakugou's sure of it. But until he knows the story, he won't pass more judgement. Asides from calling the two of them idiots.]

Eijiro's arms tighten around himself and he takes a breath. Shakes his head. ]
If I had to guess, he was trying to keep their fight from hitting the city.
[ Dabi was on the inside of it, after all. He's not a brilliant logician and he's not very familiar with Dabi's capabilities, but it doesn't take a genius. As for the other tidbit... Kirishima sees no reason to hold it back from Bakugou. ]
There was a woman there to get Dabi. Long, blonde hair, red eyes. She knew about their relationship to each other.

Two powers meeting in the middle and leaving both combatants thrown to the wayside afterwards. He just doesn't know which of them created that explosion: Shoto's Flashfreeze Heatwave or Dabi's flames hitting something bad (cold air or a gas main). Something to ask them later. If he feels like talking about it.
Bakugou doesn't begrudge Kirishima the sight he saw when he reached the area. Won't ask him more about it either, not wanting his friend to have to dwell on the memories. He shakes his head at the guess and moves to the window to look out it. Shoto's going to survive.]

[He goes silent as the rest of it comes out. Granted, Bakugou says he has no interest in the Todoroki family drama, and yet here he is, paying attention to his classmate's health and silently concerned about the villain's state. Izuku's really done a lot for Bakugou's maturity towards people...]
Figured he'd make allies. [That's his assumption on the woman. But doesn't recognize the description, so that's something he'll simply have to accept.] It's safe to assume he'll recover too.
