Ahaha...I like it, though. I mean, I could quit, but...it's kinda fun to keep up with?

[ It's not like he can do hero training to the same degree in school now since it's a normal school. But Izuku still attends for the academic reasons. Though school will be out for summer soon. ]

You can't "quit" riding a bike. It sticks with you for life.

[That's why there's that saying about bicycle riding... Katsuki's doing amazing in school, getting top marks unless Iida and Yaoyorozu are somehow in this version of their world.

Still has time for sports and some hobbies at least. He's partial to basketball for now.]

[Sheesh. Though the same argument still applies! You never forget how to run, hurdle, jump, and the rest of those track variations either. Hmph! Katsuki keeps up with his own sports and stuff, because he needs shit to do and isn't always dicking around in the VR world.

[ Well, of course he wouldn't forget, but he definitely could quit the team. Izuku shrugs. He's following Katsuki, by the way. figuring he knows where he's going. ]

Either way, I'm having fun doing it.

[Katsuki would growl at him if he did. Izuku should keep the sport going and not bail on the team that has likely come to rely on him as a teammate. And yeah, the sound of wheels and motors is coming into audible "view" as they move down the street.]

Do you just do the running or all the events?

We-ell. I'm technically in both cross country and track, and mostly do the running for track. I do some long jump though? I mostly prefer the running parts though!

[Not really, since one's more on endurance than the other, but still... running. Katsuki looks up as they round the corner and the sign for HotWheels shows up with a flaming wheel and all. (Oh yeah, I went there. Sue me.)

Hm...I've gotten pretty okay scores in both. But I do enjoy cross country more! I feel like it's really good training for stamina.

[Well good thing the there are two inside tracks and some of the outside tracks are covered... but rain's rain, so they might be waiting longer with some tracks closed due to weather.

Stamina for running isn't the same as stamina for other activities.

[ He'd love to offer to run together in the mornings, but Izuku gets the feeling Katsuki treasures that alone time when he gets up and prepared. Of the two of them, Katsuki isn't an extrovert despite being louder - he tends to have much lower limits for tolerating socializing than Izuku does. ]

Hm! I train a bunch of different ways, but, as someone who was always in the going home club...I'm really enjoying being part of a sports club.

Katsuki does appreciate the alone time, but if he's honest, that alone time is a lot more treasured when he was living with 19 other noisy nosy teenagers. Here, when it's "just" him and Izuku from their worlds, he finds the other boy's presence far more comforting than annoying.

And doesn't start inviting other people because that'll have Katsuki ditching the lot of them in an instant.]

Though, I honestly am not sure what sport I would have done back home if I'd been welcome...I always thought kyudo was kinda cool.

Well, it makes the most sense to do go karts first, doesn't it? It's not pouring too bad right now, but if we wait too long the weather might flip into something worse, and then you wouldn't be able to do the outdoor track.
