[ Megumi isn't too surprised he had so many people remember his birthday. Even with his loud and abrasive attitude, even with his silly nicknames and harsh words, Megumi could easily tell that Bakugo was kind, and he's not surprised that others would be drawn to him eventually.
He can guess that his wish would be something like going home, to return to his duties as a hero. That wouldn't be surprising at all. Megumi does have unfinished business at home, but life in Neo Tokyo is so much calmer in comparison that it's really hard to yearn to go back. ]
