[there's something to be said about someone going on impulse. denji being that kind of person doesn't surprise bakugou in the least. and the half-devil is one of the few people who has blanket permission to invade bakugou's personal space without getting his head ripped off. granted, he's not going to blast the guy in the face if he kisses him in public; denji's earned that privilege as well. but don't pout if he gets red in the face and sputters about it for a few seconds afterwards! who knows what denji'll find in his mouth after that. a tongue isn't entirely off the option list...
HE'S THE ONE THAT SAID "GIMME 30 MINUTES" IN THE FIRST PLACE!! but whatever. denji can get in the mood (in and out of it) while bakugou grabs a rinse off and gets ready to go out. he's been working out in his room so a fast shower is kind of a demand right now. look, if he finds out denji's having fun to his pictures, he's going to give him a face, then mock him for choosing the lesser of rewards. might be digging himself a hole considering the devil hunter's refractory period, but taunting is part of their banter.
he's gonna wonder what denji's thinking, jerking off to a guy... NOT OUT LOUD, DAMMIT!!
yeah, bakugou is bee-lining it out of the dorm, cussing under his breath when the third congratulation comes his way. DOES EVERYONE FUCKING KNOW NOW?! he really should throttle the guy beside him for letting the news slip...
at least they get to escape to the grill, where they can cook their own food at their table. that's always fun for him, because there's no need for awkward silence while waiting for their food to arrive. it's active, they can experiment with cooking techniques, and generally have an interactive dining experience along with the conversation. the dessert is nice, though denji gets to indulge in the sweeter chocolate of it while bakugou likes the darker chocolate part.
totally kill whoever comes against them in the arcade.
but it's later at night, closer to 9pm, that denji's going to get a text again:]
