OOC Preferences

Backtagging: Forever, so long as there is mutual interest and steady pace.
Threadhopping: Yes, but PM all the players involved first to check with them.
Breaking the 4th Wall: Only if the thread already permits it.
Dropping Threads: Only if the players really clash or there are many long breaks.
Offensive Subjects: None. Just keep it tactful. PM if there’s an issue.

Brackets or Prose: Comfortable with both and will match whichever’s preferred.
Tense: Comfortable with both. I default prose to past ("he said, he did") and brackets to present ("he says, he does").

Meme Continuity: Sure, if it’s wanted. PM if anything gets forgotten.
Spoilers: Drop them as you will. I don’t use "spoilers" in headers since we’re all on the Internet.
Gagtags: Sure, as well as silly threads and ooc crack.

AUs: Yes. Good with setting both characters in a different AU or incorporating either into the other’s canon-verse.
Cross-Canon: Yes. I love cross-canon as much as canon. Feel free to hit me up with anyone from anywhere.
Cross-Media: Yes. Anime/manga, video games, comics, literature, films (animated/live-action), tv-series (animated/live-action), western animation, real life, have at it.
OCs: Maybe. It’s fine so long as I don’t know who the PB is. If I do, probably not, because then it gets weird.
Fandom AUs and OCs: Yes. Fandom AUs are welcome. Fandom OCs fall under the same comment as above.

Violence / Fighting: Bring it on! Try to keep violence threads at a give-and-take level unless a curbstomp is agreed on beforehand. Winner and loser can be decided via PM, OOC comments in threads, or developed naturally.
Physical Affection: Sure! Hugs, arm around shoulders, friendly kisses to the cheek or forehead, those kinds are all good. Just note the current IC relationships when going for it and the probable reactions physical affection might bring.
Smut: Hell yes~ From making love to having sex to fucking to dubious consent to nonconsensual rape. PWPs are as welcome as developing CR during sex. I never fade to black or gloss over sex unless this is asked for beforehand.
Kinks: Player k-list is here. Muse kinks are interpreted via their characters / the setting, but player kinks take precedence. Some "no" items are negotiable. PM with questions.

Shipping Preferences:
I enjoy developing ships through CR buildup, so I don’t force ships "because it's canon" or other similar rationale. I’m definitely not against canon ships though! For me, shipping is more about how the characters get along and how well the players mesh. Understood-CR for memes is a normal exception, so we can plot the relationship out before starting the thread. Both amiable and antagonistic ships are good to go as well; things can happen between friends as well as rivals and enemies.

Threading CR buildup can be gen or smut or a mix, since sex (lovesex—casualsex—hatesex) can obviously happen without a ship. There still should be some chemistry between the characters for a ship to set sail. I’m also good with one-sided ships where your character develops a crush (or obsession) on mine, or vice versa, but keep in mind any IC ramifications if we embark on that kind of route.

I ship M/M with my characters. My ships run from canon to crosscanon to crossmedia, and my fleet looks like this. I’ll generally ship my characters with anyone and anything. Ships can run platonic to romantic to sexual, though some ships, such as one with rivals or enemies, will require more effort (or more background plotting) to establish than others. Still, I’m willing to at least try shipping with any guy interested.

Regarding M/F ships, please note, outside of sexual ships, I enjoy M/F relationships and welcome threading it. From allies to friends to rivals to enemies, I like exploring platonic friendships and even romantic dating in these ships. I’ll also make rare exceptions for F/M sex if it comes to pegging, either with toys or naturally, but this is very character specific. PM me if you have questions about a potential M/F ship.

IC Permissions

Touching – YES – I mean, you can try, which actually applies to all of these. He’ll just blow you up for it nine times out of ten. Bakugo’s not a touchy feely person and he has to really trust or respect someone to let them get away with touching him out of the blue. Still, if you do reach that magical plateau, fist bumps and high fives are cool. You can even plop a hand on his shoulder or bump him without getting more than a glare, scowl, or threat. Pat his head or ruffle his hair, however… RAWR Ka-Boom! Should go without saying that if he doesn’t want you touching him, he’ll make that explosively known.

Hugging – YES – Same as the one before, but even more selective. Bakugo is not someone who likes feeling like others are supporting him, even though he’s slowly accepting this reality. Hugging is normally for emotional support and all that chummy stuff is for wussies! He doesn’t want to seem vulnerable, so someone trying to hug him for whatever reason is going to get a harsh verbal and violent rejection alongside a bombastic trip into the next room. Still, on the very rare extreme cases, if he’s too distraught or distracted to think rationally, you can get away with hugging him. He won’t admit it, but he’ll appreciate it deep down. He’s still a kid.

Kissing – YES – And for rule number three, just don’t do this if you want you face the way it is. Bakugo’s an asshole, but kissing still means something in his opinion. If you kiss him—no matter if it was a peck on the forehead/cheek or a smack right on the mouth—expect a completely flustered and eruptively enraged howitzer coming for you to kiss next. He’ll kick your ass. Unless, of course, he actually likes you back. Then you won’t die, at least. Speaking of that, if he’s in a relationship with you, all touching, hugging, and kissing things are okay. Just don’t overdo it or he’ll RAWR at you for embarrassing him.

Flirting – YES – Bakugo’s a pretty intuitive guy, so he’ll usually pick up on someone trying to flirt with him. But he’s also a massive jerk, so unless he actually wants to reciprocate that kind of banter, expect to get shut down immediately with a vicious insult or a dry sarcasm. If you surprise hit on him however, he can get momentarily stunned and flustered, which’ll quickly piss him off. Now, if he does want to flirt back, he can at least do a semi-decent job at it? He’s not even that good with basic compliments (though that’s more out of pride than ability.) Just don’t expect him to be a romantic tease. He’s not.

Sex – YES – Like kissing, sex means something. Whether that something is casual bonding or blowing off steam or indulging in a romantic relationship is up to the circumstances and relationship. Bakugo isn’t going to let someone he doesn’t know or like touch him, so he’s definitely not going to be shacking up with a stranger or an enemy. At least not willingly. Still, if he wants to fuck, he’s going to go for it with very little problem or hesitation, especially if the opportunity is all there. And yes, he ā€œfucksā€ during sex; it’ll take some major CR for him to ā€œmake loveā€ to someone. That said, all reservations about touching, hugging, and kissing are off during sex so go at him with all that by-now-backed-up passion. Also keep in mind that Bakugo’s 16 (looks AND acts it), so be aware of it if that's not something for you.

Fighting – YES – Bring it on! Bakugo Is a natural fighter on top of being a very powerful hero-in-training. He’ll pick fights as often as they’re picked with him and he has no issue using violence to solve his problems. While he was a MAJOR bully in the past, he’s gradually matured away from this, though he is still very aggressive and abrasive towards most people. That said, if he doesn’t think you’re worth his time or effort, he’s just as fine ignoring your ass. Once. If you want to fight him, check out his abilities to get an idea of what you’re up against. He’s young, but he’s very talented and dangerous.

Injuring – YES – This is just part of the job description for heroes. Bakugo has been injured plenty in his training and fights over the course of the series. Smaller injuries like scrapes, burns, bruises, cuts, and strains aren’t going to slow him down in the least. But intense wounds like broken bones, torn muscles, lacerations and impalements, sensory damages, and other traumatic injuries are going to impair him. He’s only human. Don’t expect that ā€œimpairingā€ to mean ā€œstoppingā€ though; he has an intense drive and will continue fighting until he physically can’t if that’s what it takes. Permanent injuries, like amputation and scarring, require a PM to discuss.

Killing – MAYBE – This is NOT part of the job description for heroes. Despite the fights and violence they can get into with villains, heroes are not supposed to maim or kill their opponents. Similarly, despite being a shitty person and screaming murder left and right, Bakugo is not the kind of guy who would do any of his more intense threats easily. At best, he’ll comically beat someone up and/or blow them up with all the severity of a cartoon humor. The kind they can quickly-ish recover from. But when it comes to really injuring someone else and/or killing them, he’d feel very disturbed by it. Circumstances and personal feelings, however, make this subject to change, as they play a big part in the decision. And he’s not so naĆÆve to think that killing is NEVER an option. Especially when dealing with someone who would murder him or innocent people without a problem. Heroes sometimes have to make hard choices and bloody their own hands. It’s not a perfect world. Send a PM to discuss this if it’s wanted.

Mind Reading – YES – There have been some mind-related Quirks in his series, so it’s not impossible for Bakugo to experience this. So far, he hasn’t yet. If you want to want to dive into his angry head, expect to see a lot of things, ranging from anger to doubts to plans to studies to everything else you’d find in a very proud teenage student with anger management problems in training to be the best hero the world has ever seen. Note: if he finds out you’re snooping around in his head, expect to get beaten up VERY. BADLY. He’s also smart enough to realize someone’s messing with his head just from knowing his own thoughts well enough.

Non-Human Beings – YES – There are a lot of people in his home series who don’t look human, from minor extra to outright inhuman appearances, so it more depends on CR when it comes to Bakugo’s interactions. He’ll still be surprised if someone in-human looking suddenly appears. Since he can act like a Grade A piece of shit a lot of times, do not expect him to treat a strange-looking person with sensitivity. But he’s also not the kind to sit there and continually insult someone over their appearance or what they are. If said person proves themselves strong and decent, he’s not going to do more than lump their appearance in with their character and will treat them like he treats everyone else. When it comes to intimacy, he’s as receptive to sleeping with non-human beings as he is with humans and humanoids, if they reach that level of a relationship. As far as the intellect argument goes—sapient (human) vs sentient (animal)—we’ll cross that bridge if/when it’s ever come to.

Warnings – YES – Like most other Bakugo journals, for those that don’t know about his character, he comes with plenty warnings. Bakugo is not an easy person to get along with. He's rude, loud, vulgar, violent, extremely aggressive and foul-mouthed, and isn’t afraid to insult people or reject most basic tact. He’s not only arrogant with a pride streak a mile high and an asshole personality, he’s annoyingly talented in many areas, strangely charismatic with his classmates, and succeeds in many of his endeavors. He also has a profound history of very triggering bullying and will likely never live this part of his past down. While he’s definitely moving away from his bullying of Midoriya—no longer assaulting him but more just growling at or ignoring him—it’s still part of their relationship, ingrained in Bakugo to the point of just being a reflexive response to Midoriya’s presence.

Warnings – YES – Additionally, he has experienced two very dramatic and upsetting instances of being kidnapped by villains (the former more humiliating than the latter). While in canon he’s been shown to dismiss both experiences with annoyance and indifference, references to these events may come up in certain setting, hinting at some issues of PTSD and some very injured pride and deep complexes because of it. That said, he's still a teenage boy who's trying to be a hero, growing and maturing in almost every way, so there's only so far he'll push even his worst habits, especially now that he's recognized some of them and is actively working to become better. While there's a decent, and surprisingly good, human being buried underneath all the issues and bad attitude, he’s still got a very long way to go and some people just won’t want to deal with that no matter what unrealistic breaks he’s cut in his canon.
